Listen, I know the moments after a gunman opens fire in a school are hectic for you. You have to get your talking points together, you have to mentally prepare to debate a traumatized yet sensible child, you have to look at yourself in the mirror and practice saying that more guns would have made the situation less deadly. It’s a busy time! And since we are always either in the moments after or the moments before a mass shooting, you’re pretty much always busy, I have noticed!
Anyway, I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that I now actually do want to take your guns.
All of your guns.

Outrage and obsessive hatred seem common among those that I know or knew.
Nothing that any NRA, GOA, pro-2A supporter didn’t already know.
What he means is that he wants to pass laws and use jack-booted thugs to ATTEMPT to take them away. He is under the mistaken impression that we will quietly give them up.

What makes you think that the "random gun owners" won't be convincingly characterized as "domestic terrorists" who need to be taken out for the safety of the Republic? I agree with you that Navy SEAL snipers won't be knowingly shooting random American Citizens. KNOWINGLY. The lies and deception from the Deep State are coming thick and fast these days.
That's nice. Now get back in the cattle car, and you can have a nice, refreshing shower after you finish in-processing at the camp.
You could waterboard them after they finish lying to you, and thyereby doublecheck their stories, but they tell us now that such methods would be a hurtful thing to do.
So use Diesel fuel instead. Then you can shoot them with a tracer round.
