Late-night comedian Jimmy Kimmel says that the American people have had enough of the type of anti-Trump humor that he regularly spews and that it is now time for him to “make fun of ourselves.” In an interview with Deadline, Kimmel was asked whether he had prepared a “barrelful of barbs” for President Trump in his upcoming standup routine for ABC’s upfronts.
“Oh, wow. Yeah, you know, I hadn’t really thought about it that way, but I guess you’re right. Hopefully, it’ll be the last upfront of the Trump era, too,” Kimmel said.
“So, I don’t know, I don’t know how much focus there will be on that. I think people have had an ass-full of Donald Trump, and I feel like the upfront is a time to look within and make fun of ourselves,” Kimmel said of his comedy routine for the annual event that sees major advertisers gather to purchase airtime on networks, like ABC, ahead of the summer and fall TV seasons.
Kimmel went on to say that although his upcoming routine will not be a “Trump-free zone,” it will not be so focused on events in and around the White House.

I simply stopped watching late night ‘comedy’ period. Greg Ferguson was the only fellow after Leno I liked.
Really? Just last week they had Stormy Daniels on along with Alec Baldwin, mocking Trump.
NPR should be defunded.
His mockingbird masters informed him that all the anti-Trump garbage that they’ve been spewing is backfiring and will cost them the 2018 elections.

Somebody’s boss had a come to JC talk with them about declining ratings. Kimmel would never have come to this by himself, of that you can be sure.

Interesting. Even a lot of lefties realize that Trump’s actions are winning, and they’re not sure they want to go down with Hillary’s geriatric ship.
He is in third place because the rabid hate Trumpers tune into Coldbert for their daily dose of dripping venom and and normal people who aren’t really into politics tune into Jimmy Fallon.

On TV Carson was witty, charming, and personable. He used his time to make his guests shine, to draw them out and then share his witty commentary on their stories.
In real life, apparently he was something of a misanthrope who didn't care for other people much and just wanted to be alone. Weird how he could flip a switch and be that guy on TV that everybody loved and how he couldnt be that guy in real life. A fascinating, flawed man but no doubt the greatest late night host of all time, period.
