Lindsey Graham trying to get in front of a camera.
That’s good. Canada will be represented.
All the FReepers above (through post 8, anyhow) are being jerks for attacking one of the mere handful of Senators who are actually giving wholehearted support to Trumps agenda. I guess counterproductive low-thinkers will always be amongst us.
Some have said this is an “unforced error”, that moving the embassy is needlessly antagonizing the Arab/Muslim world.
Which makes me think, the media and liberal types, are hoping for violence to break out over this embassy issue. They would welcome violence, so they can bash Trump over this.
What no Glenn Beck?
Ted Cruz has been a consistent outspoken supporter of Israel for his entire public life.
I’ll plant a tree if they’ll take McCain along, and leave him there.
Trump!!
Opening the embassy will de-enthuse Jewish Dhimmicrats. Low unemployment for minorities will similarly de-enthuse those groups. Denuclearizing the Korean Peninsula will not improve Dhimmicrat support amongst Korean and Japanese immigrants.
WINNING!!! Blue wave - Dhimmicrats are watching the Tidy Bowl in action!
All this hate for one of the most conservative Senators in the Senate on a site populated by conservatives. I realize it’s because he was a threat to Trump in the primary but it’s about time to get past that and focus on the real enemy which is the left.
Good for Lindseed and Ted for supporting Israel.
Long after all of us have been turned into dust DJT is going to be remembered as the President who moved his Embassy to Jerusalem first.
“I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” (Genesis 12:3)
I guess that settles it. . .unfortunately we have both electorate and elected that don’t care and DON’T GET IT!
“But many Arab and European leaders slammed Trump for upending a decades-old foreign policy in which U.S. presidents declined to weigh in on the contested city, leaving the issue to be resolved in peace talks between Palestinians and Israelis.”
And if a US president had weighed in early this problem could have been solved decades ago instead of being a festering wound.
Thank you President Trump for showing Leadership.
Garden outside the US embassy
In the 2016 campaign, he was one of the most solid supporters of Israel, I’m sure he always is though, campaign or not.
I like Cruz, voted for him in the primaries, I like Trump, voted for him for Prez., I would have crawled over broken glass to vote for Trump. The 2 even had a stop the Iran deal rally together. It is unfortunate that there is division on this topic. All should drop it.
The word “controversial” irritates me.
It should not be considered “controversial” for the U.S. to open an embassy in a country’s capital city.
STOP SAYING ITS CONTROVERSIAL:
1. King David paid Aruhnuh for his threshing floor ( mt zion) the going sale price. Which means its DEED OF TRUST that is 1,000 Years old.
2. Israel has a right to name thier capitol and they say its Jersusalem and has been for a long time
3.our congress by a huge margin passed the JERUSALEM RELOCATION act back in 1995 when CLINTON was POTUS an ever six months the option to move our embassy to ISREAEL was a simple as signing a piece of paper
4. Israel occupied the whole city since the war of 1967 is it controversial we still hold land we won fair an square in wars?
5. Show me a PALESTINIAN STATE that ever existed it was a name given by the ROMANS and a slam
JERUSALEM is the eternal Capitol of ISRAEL and GOD has no problem with it. If you have a problem with it take it up with GOD or you liberal media can pound sand

Yep. Wouldn’t want to change to a policy that may actually bring about peace. Bad for business. Better to keep both sides simmering and ready to go to war. If you’re a Eurocrat, keeping issues like Jerusalem unresolved is great for business.
