Iran is preparing a barrage of missiles to launch against Israeli military positions from Syrian territory, Hebrew media reported Sunday, citing defense officials.

Israel expects retaliation from those attacks.

If he is not negotiating but rather making a real threat he would not broadcast it but deliver it on the QT.Any severe attack on Iran has to be a surprise to Congress and the Democrats.It doesn’t matter if the Mullahs are warned so long as the threat is carried out shortly.
Iran has been building up its presence in Syria at the Israeli border. The Iranians are the ones who have been taking provocative action.

The mullahs in Iran are more then happy to write off dead PERSIAN SHIITES in Syria as martyrs killing ARAB SUNNIS, regardless of wheather they are killed fighting Syrian rebels or by an Israeli air strike.
Arabs by definition are mixed race, the original Hebrew word means “mixed company” or “of mixed race”.
And, if you really want to understand Shia/Sunni strife you’ll research the “Battle of Karbala”,
Then...you’ll understand why The Shi’a mean to make karballa (Iraq) the upmost holy site for pilgrimage.

WRT Iran, they will be destroyed if they push too hard. Their populist is already losing confidence in their banking system, and if Israel dumps a few dozen cruise missiles on to their oil refineries, they are finished.

I had a discussion the other day with someone right here on FR who made a moral equivalency between Israel and Iran, stating in so many words the US hypocrisy of allowing Israel to have nuclear weapons while denying them to Iran.
Unbelievable. Just astounding. As if there were no reason at all the world should be concerned with the likes of Iran having nuclear weapons.
Last I heard, Israelis weren’t marching in the streets shouting “Death to Iran” and calling for Iran to be wiped off the face of the earth.
When was the last war Israel won?
