Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said Tuesday that the company has already begun to implement a system that ranks news organizations based on trustworthiness, and promotes or suppresses its content based on that metric.
Zuckerberg said the company has gathered data on how consumers perceive news brands by asking them to identify whether they have heard of various publications and if they trust them.

Will Zuck’s “Trust Number” be anything like China’s recently introduced Social Merit ranking system? Maybe he (or his company) consults with the Chinese on these matters.

You would have to be a mega-billionaire to compete with the firmly established FaceBook or Google.
I notice too many freepers that think they don't matter because freepers don't use them. Sad commentary on reality. Sarah Palin was a most notable Republican that warned we must get a handle on Social media, oh well.
I got a Facebook account when they first opened up just to see what it was all about. "Oh, it's a myspace clone" and promptly logged out and forgot about it. Years later my wife discovered I had that old account and decided to make it "ours", meaning hers. She befriended everyone in her family and began posting pictures and stuff. Plus the occasional 'you go, girl' post which I admonish her for since it's in my name! Occasionally I will post a goofy thing about beer or busting an old college buddy's stones. So it's a weird mix of posts.
I wonder though what Facebook's algorithms would make of me from my schizophrenic posting history.
Tell that to Diamond and Silk and all the others you've taken down. Different tools are only the tools you leftist little whiny boy want us to have. There is no sharing. Yeah, like I'm really going to believe this ranking of news organizations to be fair and balanced.
