Watching the video I was thinking how dangerous her actions were. She imperiled everyone standing on the shoulder as traffic went by, and all the drivers in downstream traffic who had a sudden, unannounced slow down.

Hillary aid. Figures. Remember how it came out that as First Lady Hillary insisted that nobody make eye contact with and how she banned military uniforms from her presence? These people pretend to be warm and fuzzy but as I’ve always said, scratch the paint off a leftist and you find a fascist thug just below the surface.

From the Beverly Hillbillies.

Jed "You ought not be ashamed of your Pa"
Man "Ashamed of him? Why Dad was an MIT PHD!"
Jed "You don't need to spell it out, I heard ugly words before."

Is she Andrea Mitchell's clone?

Maybe she'll try for a job at CNN now that she lost her job at Port Authority.

She is on staff at George Washington University’s graduate school of political management. Maybe she should take a few classes.

“Professional in Residence: Residencies Caren Z. Turner will be responsible for recruiting participants for GSPM’s Global Perspective Residencies, heading the program’s Washington, DC residency, and recruiting non-degree students to enroll in residencies and other educational opportunities at the school. Turner is the CEO of Turner Government & Public Affairs, which has extensive experience advocating on behalf of corporations as well as social issue advocacy groups in Washington.”

“I am thrilled to join GW ‘s highly esteemed scholars and professors bring the realities of Washington and global advocacy to our students. I am proud to be affiliated with such a wonderful program which is uniquely positioned to cultivate and develop world class advocates,” said Turner.”

A supreme advocate, she is!

After watching this again, I'm more certain he did the right thing. He can't cite "privacy concerns" as a legal reason not to speak to her, since there are none in a situation like this. The incident report is a public document and is available to anyone who wants to read it. The Tenafly police department has probably gotten dozens of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests for that report already, once this story hit the news.

But just because the incident report is a public record, it doesn't mean the police officer is obligated to speak to any uninvolved person on the side of the road about the motor vehicle stop. In fact, he even tells the woman she can pick up a copy of the incident report on the following Monday.

And Caren Turner is an attorney, which means she already knows all of this.

Not only did this police officer do the right thing ... it looks like he played it perfectly.

I could never be a cop as I would be coming back to the station for more ammunition.....

BTW why the tow? Expired tags should be a fix it ticket.

This isn't an "expired tags" issue. In New Jersey, it is illegal to operate an unregistered vehicle on a public road. Once you get pulled over, the vehicle can not be operated until the registration is renewed. Towing unregistered vehicles is routine.

Interestingly, this probably isn't an easy problem to fix in this particular case since the vehicle is supposed to be registered in Nevada.

I'm also really curious to know who owns the Nevada-registered vehicle in this group. I can pretty much guarantee that this vehicle raised all kinds of red flags with the Tenafly police. A bunch of white kids driving an unregistered vehicle with out-of-state tags in an affluent area like Tenafly fits the perfect profile of people buying narcotics in Washington Heights, which is just across the George Washington Bridge on I-95 from this area.

I thought the cop was being very professional. The driver was not related to her, he was an adult and it was a legal matter between him and the police officers. She was trying to throw her weight around and get special treatment for her Yale and MIT flunkies. Her daughter wasn’t arrested and behaved like an adult and if indeed they were all in the car crying as she told the cop then they need their collective heads smacked for being a bunch of wussies.

In reality the cop should have said it is none of your business, and if she persisted in her I am a commissioner shtick I would have asked her are you seeking special treatment or attempting to influence this case and get her on the record. She should have been told get in you car and clear out of the area before you cause an accident.

In reality, all the cop had to do is tell her unless she left the scene, he would consider her actions an “attempt to interfere with a lawful process being carried out under his direction,” and she would be placed under arrest. But it is New Jersey, so we have no way of knowing how the patronage $hit flows there, so he was just being circumspect. He did tell her to move away from him, and he did enforce that request.

Just think - an army of those things would have ridden in on Hitlery's pantsuit tails to erect a multitude of New Offices, and send hither swarms of Officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance. On second thought, don't think about it - it could keep you up at night.
