I would not have had that restraint, and would have enjoyed every second of it! Especially if she resisted in any way.

“Of all the sins the gods despise, the greatest is hubris.”

But just think, thanks to the dash cam video, half the freaking country has seen her “in action.” I can’t imagine what it will be like for her at her next “social event” with her “friends!” I hope she has to spend half the evening in the ladies room rather than face the shame that she will get.

If the cop had told her anything, the perp probably would’ve sued the department for a privacy violation.

Policeman should have added one word to his explanation:

"You have no legal right to know that.

(He does, eventually, say, "I am under no legal obligation to tell you.")

Regards,

At least the screeching harpy was smart enough not to lay a hand on either of the officers.

The police officer has no reason to tell this person what transpired during the course of the stop. She was basically a bystander, and she made a scene on the side of a public road that actually became a nuisance to the police and to passing motorists. The people in the car were all adults, and she didn't have anything to do with the driver and/or car owner anyway.

If you were pulled over by a cop and a bystander stopped by to ask what was going on, I'm sure you'd appreciate it if the cop told the guy to get lost.

Possibly. He could have simply stated that he could not tell her due to privacy concerns.

I think she was a jerk. He didn't help the matter. He could have simply stated that he was unable to tell her due to privacy concerns and she would have to talk to the driver.

One more sentence of explanation may have resolved the issue better.

I think the police where plenty restrained and did the right thing. That doesn't mean they couldn't have done a better job.

I think she acted the ass, but that isn't exactly abnormal.

I agree, however he should ave said exactly that. He should have said that he is not able to tell her. Not that he refused to tell her. There is a difference.

I think she acted like an ass. I certainly would not act that way. However, one better worded sentence and the entire matter is resolved quicker and without her getting her temper up.

They are attracted to one another. They must never be underestimated and are extremely dangerous.

If only they could have introduced her to a little pavement.... but she came just short of giving them the opportunity.

The remarkable video released by the Tenafly Police Department shows Caren Z. Turner, 60, a Democratic Party lobbyist, flash her badge and boast of her connections to the chief of police and the local mayor while berating two officers who pulled over a car whose Nevada registration had expired.
Thanks Magnatron.

I can see why she was a Hillary supporter. She has the same personality. If you could call it that.

She has since resigned her position on the Commission.

A thing of beauty.

Those coppers showed admirable restraint.

Unless someone gave the bitch a good slapping off-camera, she only got part of what she deserved. But props to the officers for keeping their cool in a situation that would have ended up with a woman being treated for road rash had I been them.

Was she a Hillary Clinton aide like Huma was/is? Did she lose her Port Authority job before or after this meltdown?
