The complete bill is available at the link in the excerpt of the article, entitled: "Assembly Bill 2943"

Just when you think CA cannot become more insane, the ComDems think of another assault on reality.

This is not a casual thought by the left, look at the detail and the length of the bill. They fully intend to implement this. It is clearly unconstitutional, but remember, the 9th Circus is the review route.

May God Help the U.S.A.

The bill starts out with a fabrication:

“Contemporary science recognizes that being lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender is part of the natural spectrum of human identity and is not a disease, disorder, or illness”

Utter nonsense.

They do realize there is something called the constitution, don't they?

But then again, the government doesn't allow preachers to endorse political candidates. How does that fly? How come no wise latinas have ever sorted that out?

The bill would make it an unlawful business practice to engage in any “transaction intended to result or that results in the sale or lease of goods or services to any consumer” aimed at “sexual orientation change efforts with an individual.”

Use this to push the LGBTQ indoctrination out of the schools. What’s good for the goose...

If it results in a ban on Bible sales even from a general book store like a Barnes & Noble, that would right there make the law a violation for the First Amendment right of free speech.

There is a corollary that can be derived from Romans 1:18-32 and it is that those who are being turned over to depraved minds may in fact irrationally loathe /hate anyone or anything that stands in the way of their unclean advocacy of evil.

This would be as true, possibly even more so, of those who are championing perversions even though they may not be trading in them personally. I reason this to be a possiblility because they ultimately have less dog in the hunt and their pervert friends but there they are still there in the same fix.

It’ll be interesting to see how fast and how hard the earthquakes start happening should this abomination pass.

It is long past time to split up the US into free states and totalitarian states.

The nazi is strong with this one.

Clearly unconstitutional. Yet the Courts are paramount in claiming their legitimacy from that document, while otherwise acting as if it didn’t exist.

"The bill would make it an unlawful business practice to engage in any “transaction intended to result or that results in the sale or lease of goods or services to any consumer” aimed at “sexual orientation change efforts with an individual.”

Perverts of all types engage in efforts to lure others into their lifestyle - especially young people who are under their influence.

So would the law be used to stop them from distributing materials used to convince others that their lifestyle is normal?

Well, you can sell the Bibles, as long as you remove the book of Romans. And 1st Corithians. And of course Leviticus and Genesis.

Now we don't want to offend the abortion lobby, so Psalms must go, and Proverbs, too. And the Gospel of John because of exclusiveness ("...no one comes to the Father but through Me" - puleeze).

We'll get back to you on the rest....

This is of course totally unacceptable and unconstitutional, but Californians could still buy the books in Nevada or Arizona and go there for a therapy if they wanted to, couldn’t they?

This is book banning-—period.

When I grew up some books were “Banned in Boston” and Boston was a laughingstock city and the butt of many jokes.

We seem to be going backwards.

No printed material should be banned. Ever.

Follow the money. The LGBT community in California are some of the biggest political donors in the state and nationwide for the Democrat Party.

A clear violation of the first amendment:

- freedom of speech
- freedom of religion
- freedom of assembly
