North and South Korea are preparing to officially end the war when their two leaders - Dictator Kim Jong-Un and President Moon Jae-in - meet next week.
The two Koreas are technically still at war as the 1950-53 Korean conflict ended with a truce, not a peace treaty.
South Korean media reports that the two sides had been discussing plans for a permanent end to the war at the North-South summit, citing an unidentified Seoul official.

A weak leftist president in Moon Jae-in, and a carnivorous slime ball in Kim Jong Un. I don’t see this coming announcement in a good light.
It is for them to negotiate, and announce, but I don’t think we should concur if it turns out to be totally in favor of the Norks, and China as I suspect as we have way too much invested.
I think I see where this is all going. Kim and Moon decide to peace agreement maybe even unification. Then Trump and Kim have their talk. Kim says he will denuke but only if US troops leave the peninsula. Trump says only if you denuke first, Kim disagrees and says all plans of peace with the south is off the table. Now the international community will look at Trump as the spoiler for peace agreement. This whole thing may be nothing more than a stunt by Kim and his Chinese masters.

Trump should get the Peace Prize just for the Olympics.

Can you image what else Trump would have accomplished if he only had the Congress (& media) that Reagan had...as bad as they were?!?!
If this really happens, the whole world should celebrate.

Unfortunately, as a Monarchist and proud of my UEL roots, I am appalled at both my country, Canaduh, and the UK, aka (not at all Great) Britain. Also, I am quite disappointed that many Canucks, and in fact, Brits, opt for US spelling of so many words. Of course, people are lazy and don’t check their spelling, instead depending on MS Word ‘spell checker’. MS Word defaults to American spelling, so British spelling is rather quickly, disappearing.
