I applaud the president for taking military action against the Assad regime for its latest use of chemical weapons, and for signaling his resolve to do so again if these heinous attacks continue, McCain said in a statement.
To succeed in the long run, we need a comprehensive strategy for Syria and the entire region, he added later. The president needs to lay out our goals, not just with regard to ISIS, but also the ongoing conflict in Syria and malign Russian and Iranian influence in the region. Airstrikes disconnected from a broader strategy may be necessary, but they alone will not achieve U.S. objectives in the Middle East.
Etc...

McStain certainly has a flair for the obvious. Wonder if he thought this up all by himself or if he had outside help. Go Away, Juan!!
Sorry, it’s McCain and General Custer.
McCain’s Last Stand...has a nice ring to it.
Anyone laid eyes on McCain lately?

>>That’s the tumor talking.<<
Man...I know I shouldn’t laugh about that, but that did prompt a chuckle. Lord forgive me.
For a time it looked as if Syria was headed towards stability forming a federal form of government where the Kurds would have a section, the Assryians,Turks, etc all working together toward the common goal. As a foreign policy that should be our goal which we do by supporting arming local militias instead of sending our army in there.
is he even alive?
Melania needs to read The Vicious Snake to Donald. Should have a couple of nights ago.
“Thats because he loves sacrificing American lives, just not his own. We have zero business in Syria. Zero business fighting against Russia.”
McGhoul won’t be happy until our troops are marching into a hamburger grinder. We are sticking our nose in where it doesn’t belong. Moscow is not amused.
Hey McCain, two words “Assisted Suicide”.
“So what exactly are the objectives? Same as in Libya and Egypt? Topple the current government ,walk away and wonder why that part of the world is soo messed up?”
Don’t forget Iraq which in turn gave us ISIS and an unfettered Iran.
Yeah they will....no ground troops.

Everyone else in the world to McCain -- this is about Putin murdering people by poison and radioactivity in the UK or anywhere else it suits him..
Does he mean that after 16 total years of geniuses W and BHO there still isn’t a “comprehensive” strategy for the entire region (which includes Syria) and one that Trump just has to run and maintain?
His colleague Kerry said in 2014 “We struck a deal where we got 100 percent of the chemical weapons out”.... but later said as he was leaving a Secretary of State “[U]unfortunately other undeclared chemical weapons continue to be used ruthlessly against the Syrian people. Chlorine gas was not part of the deal because of non-military civilian uses of chlorine.
When is McCain going to hold BHO accountable? Or the media? Trump may be cleaning up yet another failed BHO feel good, worthless actions. Yet McCain has to advise Trump on the need for comprehensive strategy while ignoring why Trump has to deal with Syria.
If McCain wanted to influence foreign policy, he shouldn’t have rolled over for Obama to be elected in 2008. What McCain says isn’t worth a single grain of sand in the Sahara.
Totally agree - several members of my family have suffered with brain tumors, not many clear thoughts at this point in his life. Some staffer has taken up the role as “McCain Mouthpiece”
FU McNuts! ESAD!
What Trump did was to send a message to mueller, to sessions, to china, to russia, to iran, to n korea, to the libs and to our country that he is no spineless do nothing President!
....and did not stir up trouble with russia.
(also to Israel.. that President Trump is not afraid to use weapons for defense along with Israel)
If he had done nothing, he would have been a barack type man... and thank the Lord he isn’t!
