Michael Cohen is a fraud of a lawyer who works exclusively for President Trump, federal prosecutors charged Friday. “Cohen has told at least one witness that he has only [one] client — President Trump,” the lawyers wrote in court documents, challenging Cohen’s claims that records seized in raids on his home and office Monday should be protected by attorney-client privilege. And he’s barely doing any “legal work” for Trump, either, they claim. “[Reviews of the records] indicate that Cohen is in fact performing little to no legal work, and that zero e-mails were exchanged with President Trump,” according to the brief, filed in Manhattan federal court.

Exactly. Lots of lawyers work for govt, corporations, other single entities. Are they “barely even a lawyer” if they don’t have a roster of private clients?

The NY Post was barely a newspaper long before anyone heard of Michael Cohen.
Huh. They must’ve already breached attorney-client privilege in order to read enough of the seized items in order to be able to link them to clients; and, since they involve the Presudent, even schedules and calendars may be classufied, as they were with Petraeus. I smell treason charges.
In today’s email environment every communication between the powerful and their staff and counsel has to go through third and fourth party cutouts just for security from enemy (foreign and domestic) hacking.

His retainer must be spectacular if he is doing little or no legal work yet surviving the high rent environment in which he is located.
This is bad but I hope they really get to Trumps real evil actions like the time he threw a stone at a squirrel when he was 5 or the time ripped a tag off a mattress.

Trump simply isn’t an emailer.
Lots of attorneys use email because they and their clients aren’t criminal and lots of situations don’t involve levels of international business espionage, or whatever, to try to crack the email communications.
That’s what they thought in November 2016.
