In a million years, would Chris Cuomo have used such vulgar language when referring, say, to Hillary Clinton or President Obama?
On CNN this morning, responding to a mention that Michael Cohen had been “incredibly respectful” of the process by which his home and offices had been searched, Cuomo said:
“You’re going to be a little more civil when it’s your ass on the line. It’s easy for the President to be long and strong now. I’m sure that if he gets closer to doing an interview with Mueller, he won’t be beating up on Mueller the same way. I promise you.”

Always remember Fredo is a paid liar.
Our Constitutional government is over. Almost nobody in the media or DC cares about about the basics like
* consent of the governed
* the bill of rights (limitations on the government)
* taxation without representation (citizens pay taxes. congress represents their party and donors. unelected bureaucrats run the country and the elected president has little control over much of what they do)
Forget about specifics like political attacks on opponents and trying to lock up their associates and lawyers. Or even immigration, or gun rights, or gay rights, or abortion. Those are all details that depend on agreement of the basics of government. The core concepts behind our Constitution are gone and until we can come together to agree on a new basis of government (or agree to return to the ideals of the Declaration of Independence) we cannot agree on anything else and we will have government attacks on political opponents and their associates.
Cuomo should be trying to get everyone - from his fans to Trump supporters - to find a civil replacement we can all live with (or a civil way to split into separate countries). At this point it doesn’t really matter what happens to Trump and his associates. The problem is goes much further than that and will not end if Mueller exonerates him today or he resigns tomorrow. Cuomo may think his side is getting close to domination, but it’s possible that it’s their ass on the line unless they learn some civility and are able to live with people who disagree with them. Telling 1/2 the country that our consent doesn’t matter, we have no guaranteed rights, and we don’t deserve representation in congress or the white house is not civil and not likely to end in a way Cuomo wants.
