MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia's Foreign Ministry said on Sunday reports of a gas attack in Syria were bogus and any military action taken based on such "invented and fabricated excuses" could lead to severe consequences.
"The spread of bogus stories about the use of chlorine and other poisonous substances by (Syrian) government forces continues. Yet another such fabricated piece of information about an alleged chemical attack in Douma appeared yesterday," the ministry said in a statement.

It should be easy enough to verify, even from the air.
IMO the convenient and totally illogical "gas attack" seems phony on its FACE, but let's see.
Yet I still would not put it past ISIS to set off a captured chemical munition and claim it was the Russians or Syrian military. No, not shilling for the Russians, just pointing out that ISIS is sick enough to do such.
Well, someone was warning that a false flag would be used to keep troops in Syria, and as an excuse to go after Assad. We have no business being there. Assad has zero reason to do this in a war he is winning. Getting sick of this cr@p when we have real battles to fight here at home.
There are no good guys in Syria, that’s why we need to get the Hell out.
ISIS, as an agent of the Deep State, or any other agent of the Deep State. This, coming one week after the President said he wanted out of Syria.
I saw some video on NBC News. A bunch of people in what looks like a classroom wearing surgical masks milling around children who look like somebody sprayed them with tear gas. Just too orderly and monolithic. Looks staged to me.
When the Rebel side is getting their butts kicked a chemical attack shows up with a ton of video with children being treated by throwing water on them
Nope, nope, no way, not a chance. It bothers me how blatant and transparent those whose interests entail keeping the U.S. actively involved on someone's side in Syria can still fool so many people. I mean this doesn't even have a whiff of verisimilitude to it.
Couldn’t agree with you more.
On all counts.
This, coming one week after the President said he wanted out of Syria.

Also coming just in time to deflect attention from the Turkish invasion.
“No one’s going to convince me this isn’t a false flag. Like a week after President Trump talks about exiting Syria this happens? Assad gases people on the cusp of getting what he wants?”
Just wondering how long it will be before the barrage of attacks accusing you of being a ‘Putinista’ or ‘shilling for Russia’ or ‘Assad a** kisser’ or insinuating you are being paid to think this.
Get ready - the NeoCon nutjobs have been out in full force as of late.
To be fair to the Russians...it does seem totally fabricated
What a mess.

Until I left earlier today to watch Tennis and Golf, Fox News Channel seemed to be going with full bore support of the Syrians are monsters and we must intervene narrative. To which I politely say BULL CRAP!
Russia has cemented the most anti-Semitic, fascist coalition axis of powers since the end of World War II.
Iran - Syria - Russia - Turkey.
Assad has stated before that after dealing with ISIS “rebels,” Israel is his next priority.
Quite a Nazi-esque statement if you ask me. And it pales in comparison to what Iran’s leaders and terrorists avow.
Not saying a full on WWIII will break out, but interesting to marvel at what’s unfolded.
Have to trust the Russians, you know, they are like 142nd in freedom of the press and they certainly are not listed as a free nation, quite the opposite.
That was what I thought too. There is NO reason for Russia to do this, just as there was no reason for the poisoning of the former spy in England. Not saying they couldnt, but just simply wondering why would they would bother.
They are asking for an investigation. But, strangely enough, nobody in the UN or elsewhere ever wants to investigate it...why is that?
