Facebook is displaying a link to Wikipedia’s smear-job description of Breitbart News next to all Breitbart articles shared on the site. The linked Wikipedia article describes Breitbart as a “far-right site” that publishes “falsehoods, conspiracy theories, and intentionally misleading stories.” The social network, which has been under pressure from Democrats and the mainstream media since the election of Donald Trump in 2016, has added a button marked “about this article” next to all posts linking to Breitbart News pieces on the site. Currently only viewable for American users, the button brings up a pop-up screen that displays Wikipedia’s misleading description of Breitbart News.

They try to hide their bias behind such “judges” of truth as wikipedia, factcheck, etc but always make sure the left owns the “judges”.

I use Wikipedia for setting the dates of things, and that is about it. Everything else is leftist about it.

I agree. Since I’m long in the tooth, and since my grands and our son live away from here and since I’m losing childhood friends and schoolmates at lightening pace and have a special place for us on FB that’s a way to keep in touch but I sure wish there were another alternative.......sigh

That’s why I have never spent a penny on amazon.
I must say I just went to Facebook and went directly to Breitbart. I looked like at several stories and did not experience any pop ups.
