The United States has transported the Armag weapons vault from Turkeys Incirlik Air base to another facility, YeniSafak reported.
According to the source, a 40-ton portable weapons vault was transported to another country via a C-5M Super Galaxy transport aircraft.
There has been no official explanation over the transfer yet.

Can you tell us more about Incirlik, and is it true that the typical Turk is an chest-thumping, ego-driven savage?
I didnt like it either. If there is a dictionary definition of a shithole country, a picture of Turkey would be there. I was in Vietnam too, and I hated it, but I hated Turkey even worse.
Interesting. Thanks.
I have wondered about those poor souls who remain at Incirlik. Security-wise they seem pretty naked. While I am certain there are contingency plans in place for emergency rescue and evacuation, people will die and some may likely get captured.
Well, that is true with many of them, but I dont know if its because they are Turks, or is it because they belong to that evil death cult.
Thank you for your support.
smile.
I suspect what you said is true, but the fact that 3 of these units have been moved and most of the aircraft are out of Incirlik, are indicators of something more important.
“My friends in Syria know the Russians. Putin has an objective, establishing Erdogan as Sultan is not one of them.”
Don’t let them kid themselves. Turning Turkey against NATO would be the biggest strategic accomplishment of Putin’s Presidency. It is worth much more to him than some romantic old comradeship with Kurds.
Yes, you are correct. But making Erdogan Sultan is not necessarily linked to that.
Russia still has a Muslim problem too. They don’t take orders well from people like Putin.
“making Erdogan Sultan” is just supporting another dictatorial system. That is what the Russians and Chinese promote.
“Russia still has a Muslim problem too”
Maybe Erdogan tells Putin that he can help them manage that, but he will likely try to cheat Putin on that as time goes on. Regardless, it is a huge coup to split Turkey’s large military, economy and strategic geography away from the West, even if only in the short to mid term. Putin will be willing to pay with very many Kurds for such a benefit.
Valid viewpoint.
No question about loss to NATO. Not sure about actual value of Turkey to NATO with current leader. He is not an ally, he is an enemy of NATO now.
You are damn right Ataturk was an anomaly.
“I wonder if Putin is not playing a deep game to ensnare Erdogan, weaken Turkey, and place Russia once and for all at the seat of Eastern Christianity.”
I hope so. I am not a big fan of Russia or its politics but if they can shaft the genocidal, Islamicists Turks then all I can say is “God bless them!”
For me it is like rooting for the mongoose over the snake.
So what? America is NATO so essentially kicking America out of NATO is the death of NATO. Let NATO die because its long sad illness means that a bullet to the head is a kindness.
I agree with you there. We (the U.S.) have been quietly moving lots of heavy hitting equipment out of that area for well over a year (probably longer, my memory aint what it used to be). My personal thought is a deal has been struck surrounding Syria and Turkey being uppity is going to leave it open for a very harsh turn of events.
I believe a general agreement has been made among Russia, Turkey and Iran. But what they want and what is on the ground in Syria are 2 different things.
It’s been said, if we want to take Turkey and Syrian military out, we can. They could not stop us. It would have a price.
Russia? Putin is making blustering noise about his advanced weapons, he has some. But he cannot “win” a war with the US. Neither the US or Russia wants one.
So, we have what is often called, a Mexican Standoff in Syria. We are there, and we expect to help make a peace agreement to protect the people in the portion of Syria that we help control. It may not be a perfect agreement, but hopefully it will avoid another genocide like Turkey wants.
I believe Russia has set a trap for Erdogan. Erdogan has few friends. Ultimately, Turkey will loose on this one. He wants to gather up the Ottoman Empire again, but it has been dead 100 years.
Kurds have not yet given up on Afrin. Turks air support is the only reason Turkey prevailed so far. If stingers were suddenly available there, it would be a game changer.
This is not simple math. Lots of moving pieces. No one can see the outcome from here yet.
