Moreover, Sessions was, in fact, using Justice Department lawyers with prosecutorial power in connections with potential FISA and related abuses. Since November, John Huber, the U.S. Attorney for Utah, has been on the case. Trump apparently didnt know this, but he should have. Sometimes its better to talk to the Attorney General than mindlessly to blast him on Twitter.
Huber was appointed by President Obama, but his name was submitted by Senators Hatch and Lee of Utah. Thus, his selection by Sessions seems like a shrewd move. As Obamas nominee it will be difficult for critics plausibly to paint him as anti-Democrat. But as the favorite of Hatch and Lee, Republicans should be confident that hes not in the Democrats pocket. Moreover, because Huber works out of Utah, its unlikely that hes connected in any way with D.C. insiders such as James Comey and Andrew McCabe.
What about the decision to use a U.S. attorney rather than appoint a special counsel? This decision also seems sound, and not just because I dont like special counsels. The combination of the IG and the USA should be able to accomplish as much as a special counsel would and accomplish it faster and with less fanfare.
The absence of fanfare is an advantage because it makes it more difficult for Democrats and their media partners to push the idea that anyone is being persecuted. A Justice Department investigation headed by two Obama appointees is harder to shoot at than a special counsel. And, of course, nothing prevents Sessions from appointing a special counsel if changed circumstances militate in favor of doing so.
In sum, Sessions has handled this matter well, Trumps foolish tweets notwithstanding.
Are you noticing the agiprop and “whoa is me...nothing will happen” BS from the same old mooks”?
No matter how many times the Sessions cheerleaders say otherwise, Rosenstein is Huber’s boss.
Rod Rosenstein Submitted False Documents To Senate Concerning His Interrogation of Hillary Clinton
Big League Politics
‘Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein gave a resume to the Senate Judiciary Committee for his confirmation to be Deputy Attorney General. In that resume, provided under oath, he falsely stated the dates at which he worked for Ken Starrs investigative legal team.
Rosenstein testified to the Senate that he worked on Starrs team beginning in 1995 and ending in 1997. Rosenstein said that he began working at the U.S. Attorneys office in Maryland for the Clinton administration in the year 1997. However, records show that Rosenstein interviewed Hillary Clinton for Ken Starr in the Whitewater case on January 14, 1998.
Rosensteins official interview with Hillary Clinton lasted fifteen minutes and cleared her of charges stemming from the seizing of FBI documents on the former Clinton White House travel director.’

Well, what the hale do you think he’s going to do?
It's like there's a whole crew of we-hate-Sessions, nothing-will-ever-happen on FR.
Might as well be the DU the way they whine.
Read the damn letter. It's in plain English.
...they will make recommendations...
So, they will make “recommendations” for indictments.
Saw posted on Twitter this morning that the sealed indictments are up to 24,544.

Somethings going to go KBOOM.
Geez, read the letter.
They will make the possible following recommendations:
1.) Open new investigations
2.) Add resources to current investigations
3.) Refer any matters to a Special Counsel.
‘Somethings going to go KBOOM.’
Been hearing that since October. Meanwhile Hillary is globe trotting, Criminal Comey is on the verge of a major book launch, and the statute of limitations on Clapper’s open and shut case of perjury just ran out.
on the FISA warrant applications
Jesse K Liu takes over the Anwan family case in DC
Vachel Lindsey-More good news. Remember this name : Jesse K Liu Liu was appointed US Attorney of the DC of Columbia on 24 September, 2017. Trump interviewed her personally. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jessie_K._Liu
In two years??? That's it in two years??? If that's all he could find in two years that would warrant action, perhaps it was just a warning to Mueller to cover Mueller's hind end...Give him a heads-up...
So someday maybe something will happen.
Someday.
Maybe.
Because the impending indictments and arrests are going to shake our country to the core. The less the sheeple know and talk about it, the better the results will be. Trump makes himself the target, thereby allowing justice to do their job with low profile. After all, Trump is wreckless, unstable, stupid, unpresidential etc. to the left. Trump is using their misconception of him to his advantage. IMO, it's brilliant but only with time will we know for sure.
Like so many others, it appears this author fails to understand Trump's tweet strategy. Trump and Sessions are working in tandem. I suppose it helps that these people don't understand that fact.
‘the impending indictments’
They’ve been impending since October.
Though we now know of one indictment that will never happen. Clapper’s indictment for brazen, in-your-face perjury. His name isn’t Michael Flynn and his lies were fundamentally worse than the stupid process issues that caused Flynn to lose his house...so Clapper got a pass.
Lol. So Mirengoff is too intelligence-challenged to understand Trump’s tweets, but take everything else he says to the bank.
Smh.
My guess is that if the WH was involved, that Obama wouldn't have signed any of these applications himself, of course. But Susan Rice and Samatha Power do come to mind They were unmasking people to get the names, which means they were in on the plan to destroy Trump. But I don't think they had the authority to sign applications to the FISA court.
These folks are in the public records for signing FISA warrants so far that I know of:
Loretta Lynch. Attorney General Lynch Signed Off on ALL FISA Applications to WireTap Trump
James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Sally Yates, Dana Boente, Rod Rosenstein. James Comey Signed FISA Applications
You sound angry. At me, for some reason.
I comment on FR to voice my opinion and learn information about many things.
But what I do not do is to get on FR to start a fight with everybody who has a different opinion that I do.
You've been "damn" this and "damn" that too many times towards me for my liking.
So take a hike. The honeymoon is over.
I tried for a while but never was able to spend enough time trying to follow the whole Q thing.
So what is this alluding to? Sealed indictments from the OIG investigation (that seems way too many to be reasonable)?
Sealed indictments in the DC area? Sealed indictments across the country?
If they are "up to 24,544", is this a lot? What is the average or normal volume?
Please enlighten us unworthy ones. Thanks
