Because the impending indictments and arrests are going to shake our country to the core. The less the sheeple know and talk about it, the better the results will be. Trump makes himself the target, thereby allowing justice to do their job with low profile. After all, Trump is wreckless, unstable, stupid, unpresidential etc. to the left. Trump is using their misconception of him to his advantage. IMO, it's brilliant but only with time will we know for sure.

Though we now know of one indictment that will never happen. Clapper’s indictment for brazen, in-your-face perjury. His name isn’t Michael Flynn and his lies were fundamentally worse than the stupid process issues that caused Flynn to lose his house...so Clapper got a pass.
