The moms who fatally veered off a California cliff with at least three of their six adopted kids were being investigated for starving their children before Monday’s crash — and one was previously convicted of domestic assault for hitting their little girl, according to new reports.
Cops say they still have no evidence Jennifer and Sarah Hart deliberately drove their SUV off the road — but have noted that there were no skid or brake marks where the vehicle went over. Three of the kids’ bodies had been found as of Thursday morning, while the others — including 15-year-old Devonte, whose image went viral after he was photographed tearfully hugging a white cop at a 2014 protest in Ferguson, Missouri — remain missing.

The lesbians were political activists and used their children as props for their activism at protest demonstrations and rallies.
The lesbians were also Bernie Sanders supporters during his campaign, and can be seen with their children, holding signs and standing behind him during one of his campaign stops. A friend shared an album of photos of the Harts publicly on Facebook, which you can view above. The album includes the photo with Bernie.

Worse, they were probably moved to the head of the line at the adoption agency just for being lesbians, bypassing other more qualified father-mother candidates.
They drove across a fairly wide turnout area to go off the cliff. No skid marks. This is certainly not a case of briefly losing control on a narrow mountain road. Unless the investigation finds that their brakes were kaput, it is certainly looking intentional.
