McCabe: I was ‘confused’ in interview with investigators (McCabe was "confused" but Flynn "lied")
New York Post ^ | March 24, 2018 | 10:11pm | Eileen AJ Connelly

Ex-FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe admitted Saturday he was “confused and distracted” when he talked to investigators about alleged misconduct during a 2016 investigation of the Trump campaign.

McCabe “lacked candor” in that interview, Attorney General Jeff Sessions determined, and fired him March 16, two days before he would have been eligible for a pension.

“Some of my answers were not fully accurate,” McCabe admitted in a Washington Post op-ed, but insisted, “I did not knowingly mislead or lie to investigators.

Big shot FBI guy was confused during an interview with investigators? Sounds like another LIE to me.

Either that or he's totally incompetent and UNQUALIFIED for the job that he had at the FBI.

Maybe Flynn ‘lacked candor’ too...or is that BS only for liberals because the press is corrupt and so is the deep state and all the little jerks in DC we pay too much money to?

I expect he will encounter a great deal of confusion in prison.

Other than this being an outright, LIE, in an attempt to cover his ass, there are other things wrong with this statement.

1. He’s nothing but a beotch, trying to save something.

2. He’s proven, yet again, that those like him are nothing but petulant children, when they get caught.

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY.........

3. He was the Number 2 guy at the Federal Bureau of Investigations. A guy that was Second In Command of what is referred to as, the MOST ELITE LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY ON THE F*CKING PLANET. A guy that has conducted investigations that have put people in prison, some for a very long time. A guy that has, more than likely, ruined peoples careers out of his arrogance and vindictiveness. A guy that the American people probably held in pretty high esteem, based on his position and title.

People in those positions don’t get to make those kinds of excuses.

I know and have worked with agents. Some were absolute, Rock Stars. Some, not so much. But, all seemed like good people that just wanted to put the bad guy in jail. I was never for the abolition of the FBI, until I saw that headline.

While I do think there are too many federal law enforcement agencies, I’m beginning to like the fact that each one has a specific mandate. That way, I’m thinking, it can prevent more mission creep, which is what the FBI has been doing for years. All of these active shooter events, are local issues, unless the perpetrators invoke islam, etc. Until that nexus can be established, it’s all local. But, what do we see happen? The FBI shows up, in force, with their blue windbreakers, trying to take over. And the locals, in most cases, are happy since they can hand the whole thing off to the Feds and their toys. When was the last time you saw NYPD let the FBI take over one of their investigations? NEVER!!!

I hope and pray that any and every case he ever worked on is being reviewed by defense attorney’s all over this country and appeals are getting drafted. I hope that these people sue the ever living F*ck out of the FBI and him.

This guy and whatever he did, needs to be in front of a Grand Jury and put in f*cking prison. You want to see the whole cabal burn to the ground, put that out there. Of course, he probably won’t be alive in a day or two, but f*ck him and the horse he rode in on. And Rubio is concerned about this pricks pension.

Was it ever found out that this referred-to meeting was more than a rumor? I've seen no further info on this "Get Flynn!" "Get Trump!" gathering since the first few days it occurred.

While I shouldn’t be as irate as I am, I am.

This is only a snippet of all the examples out there. I guess, if you have to justify your existence and you’re too incompetent to do your job, just go ahead and make sh*t up. Notice, I didn’t even mention the murders at Ruby Ridge and Waco, again, two examples of the FBI getting involved in things they have no need to or jurisdiction over.

Just to confirm his background, I found this on Wikipedia:

In 2009, he served as the first director of the High-Value Detainee Interrogation Group, a program to research interrogation techniques that was created after the Department of Defense Directive 2310 ban of waterboarding and other interrogation techniques

So, you’re telling me that they guy who oversaw the “High-Value Detainee Interrogation Group”, was confused during his interview with the OIG? This would be comical if it were’t so disgusting and criminal.

An underlying problem I have with all of this, is the hiring practices of the FBI and most of federal law enforcement. There are men and women, serving locally, that would love to get hired by these agencies. But they cannot. These agencies take a handful, here and there, but for the most part they hire college kids with no experience, when they could be getting some folks with some serious street experience.

One more thing, why does the American taxpayer have to fund absolutely massive training facilities, all over the country? The DOJ uses Quantico, VA for training the FBI and DEA, and I think US Marshals(maybe). Every one else goes to FLETC, in Georgia, which is absolutely massive. Plus, FLETC has smaller facilities spread throughout the country. IN this day and age of saving money and streamlining, why are we paying for all of that?

No he didn’t. He did this all for his own greed, arrogance and desire to amass more and more power. He was identified as a useful tool, just like any ‘mark’. He believed that what he did was going to bring him to other places and that he would be welcomed into, The Club. The Club with members like Mueller, Comey, Lynch, Rice, Powers, et al. The untouchable, scum that travels thru DC, immune to anything and everything.

He was too stupid and blind to realize that he would never be let in.

Pretty much saying he’s an incompetent snowflake who hasn’t the maturity to be able to focus under the least bit of stress or confusion and unable to communicate effectively -— and thinks he was a fit leader of the FBI....Priceless!

Flynn misremembered a date. For that Flynn destroyed him financially and threatened to go after his son if he didn’t take a plea deal.

Already posted, but I got such a mad on about this whining POS, I just gotta say more.

You didn’t intend to lie? Well, then, you did a great job of it. Have a nice rest of your life, when you get out. ‘til then, if you don’t resist, they’ll eventually get tired of you when a new fish comes in.

Wow that’s a great article. Explains why Corncob has a truth problem; explains why he’s backing up the bus in the ComPost Op-Ed [cuz he’s getting ready to throw some ‘friends’ underneath]; and also defines why diGenova simply could not join Trump’s legal team.

“Was it ever found out that this referred-to meeting was more than a rumor? I’ve seen no further info on this “Get Flynn!” “Get Trump!” gathering since the first few days it occurred.”

Here’s what I found on a Google search: https://truepundit.com/suddenly-msm-realizes-fbi-plotted-to-fck-flynn-true-pundit-told-you-that-10-months-300-days-ago/

Summary:
This article mentions reports of the incident in the Hill and Circa, while TruePundit claims to have broken the story. TruePundit reported in December that Congressman DeSantis was asking FBI for records/recordings of the alleged incident.

I doubt that anything more will come out on that incident, unless/until they start charging people with crimes - or possibly in the long awaited IG report.

My theory is that the scandal of Democrats coopting Government offices to attack domestic political rivals will be breaking before the midterm elections. and that more heads will roll (figuratively speaking).

“not intending to” was the reason Comey exonerated HRC. McCabe should try to use that excuse.
