The Establishment has him boxed in...unless he’s willing to use the military to keep himself in office, a shutdown would finish him. He’s the president in the weakest political position since Nixon in 1974. They have him boxed, because the balance of power is with the professional political class, who have bought off who they need to and turned the rest of the population into drugged up idiots. That’s where the blame ultimately resides.

Trump is signaling this as a GoTo War bill. His focus on this is building the military back up to a wartime footing. He’s not happy with the rest of it, but keeps going back to the military aspect of it. That’s my take on it.
War with a belligerent nation state is over the near horizon. Probably starting with North Korea.
GOP totally stabbed Trump and us in the back. Nothing other than military funding is in support his priorities.
They even have language that says the wall funding can’t be used any of the new border wall designs in California.
GOP is so going to lose seats in 2018.

So how do you figure that will solve anything. I don't like this one bit but giving up isn't a solution. It is clear that what ever is done the Deep State does exist and must be destroyed but is consists of all the Democrats and a good number of Republicans. There is a lot more work to be done and none of these clowns will change willingly.

Agree. He’s my president and I will trust his instincts till the end of his term, and hopefully terms. He’s alone doing what he can, and I for one agree that he wasn’t going to give them the opportunity to override his veto.
Just wish he could replace congress members the way he can his own cabinet. Then we know things would get done instead of the old back scratching, you make it look this way but we all know we take turns on being the opposition party , when in fact the majority of us are all part of the cabal.
