Suffice to say that those who were in charge of the cash will be getting more than a “verbal reprimand” and a disciplinary letter in their HR file.

MAGA - Hmmm, is this how MEXICO pays for the wall??

That’s about 1/2500th of the wealth of Sinaloa. Petty cash.
Let us know when the banks that launder the 14 billion they hold are seized.

Going after the Sinaloa Cartel is all well and good, but I want to know when they are going to smash the Shinola Cartel, and their arch-rivals the Kiwi Syndicate. Those two organizations have controlled 99.99% of the shoe polish industry in this country for decades, and it's time authorities did something about it.

if they had seized $6 billion in cash, the headline might be closer to reality.
$6 million isn’t even coin pocket change for a cartel.
the writer is hopelessly optimistic

6 million is petty change and may be less than “acceptable” loss to the multi-billion dollar Narco “corporation”.

HSBC laundered tens of billions and was fined some relatively small amount. $6 million is maybe a weeks worth of business. It’s nothing.

6 million?! That’s not much of a smash. That’s like 1 day’s revenue. 75 indictments might sting.
