Former Trump campaign aide Sam Nunberg vowed Monday to refuse a subpoena from Special Counsel Robert Muellers team to appear before a grand jury this week as part of the Russia probe, defiantly claiming: Let him arrest me.
Mr. Mueller should understand I am not going in on Friday, Nunberg told the Washington Post.

He could have easily fired Mueller in the first days after his appointment, citing an obvious conflict of interest of his close friendship with Comey. But it is FAR too late now.
OH MY GOD - Dan Bongino is a friggin GENIUS. FF to 42:29 and listen to his section on why he thinks Mueller is chasing the UAE angle now. Remember when Obama was SNUBBED by UAE during transition bc they didnt tell him they were in town? He was PISSED...

I honestly question what his problems are, as he seems to be a mental case.
What a wonderful point. Sessions, by virtue of federal inaction, has fostered a climate of criminality so yes, why should anyone pay attention to Herr Mueller.
I agree.
However, if he wants to take the 5th on every question, that's okay.
And if he wants to refuse to answer questions about events that occurred after the election. That's okay too.
Mueller is no longer asking questions about Russia; he wants to know and how and why Trump won.
Its degenerated into a farce and hauling a former Trump campaign aide before a grand jury shows this is about politics not looking for the truth.
Mueller has exposed himself as a small time political hack out to get the President because he won the election.
That’s is Trump’s real crime and every one knows it. He can take his subpoena and shove it.
Don’t tell me somebody in DC has a backbone.
He also says he thinks “they may have something on Trump”.
I think this guy just wants to be famous again...
“If the choice is doing a little time in Club Fed versus certain bankruptcy trying unsuccessfully to fight a federal perjury trap, Id think pretty seriously about the can. “
Good thinking.
Just say no and tell the judge why.
Democrats do this all the time.
Show up, give the 5th, walk away.
The only difference is he doesn’t want to waste his time showing up.
The “rule of law” principle, as sacred as it is to our great republic, is only as pure and just as the laws and lawmakers who govern by them.
He should just take the Fifth and stay out of jail. He doesn’t have to answer Mueller’s questions.
Not likely. Mueller is going to land on him like a ton of bricks. He has to. If he doesn't then nobody will respond to his subpoenas.
In case you were comatose for the past several years, we already ARE a country not governed by “rule of law”.
Nunberg could simply have a lawyer send a letter saying his client intends to plead the 5th on anything and everything that U1 criminal suspect Robert Mueller would ask and that his client expresses no guilt whatsoever in exercising his 5th Amendment right to remain silent especially in the wake of General Flynn’s entrapment.
And before releasing the above letter, his attorney should call a special press conference for all media to hear a ‘Trump Advisor’s’ very important statement concerning what his client has to say which is: “FU Liars in the Media, my client says you and that P*ssy Mueller ain’t gettin’ Jack Sh*t, or if that’s too crass for your tender ears, it means he has a 5th Amendment right to tell you to shove it up your *ss. Any questions?”
You mean like Eric Holder who openly defied the courts? Not to mention all the other Ovomit scumbags who didn't respond to subpoenas.
It's time for blow back. Screw these assholes.
Why should any of us have respect for law & order when an entire group of people (illegals) get to flaunt the law in our faces?
