According to Davis' Twitter page, he was a sophomore at Central Michigan University slated to graduate in 2010. I'm pretty sure that means he is not a student.

Crazy how they always have a mugshot, ready to go. It’s like they take one at birth, just in case. I used to wonder about that but then I realized they are probably on file with the Department of Motor Vehicles for drivers licenses and now most schools also take ID photos. One or the other seems to be easily obtainable if not a bit outdated.

The whole AR-15 narrative is to incrementally ban ALL guns. Note that there was no AR here, as was the Virginia Tech shooter (two handguns) and he killed more people that any other school mass shooting.... (32?), the biggest school body count going to a bomb in the early 1900s in Bath MI with over 50 dead...
So if we can’t blame the gun or specific gun, then we need to blame the individual responsible, and keep the guns out of those troubled people, and ‘harden’ the soft targets, just as we all knew.
