I’d say there is a much stronger argument that a firearm with a binary trigger is a “machinegun” under the NFA than a firearm with a bump stock.

That is exactly wrong. You have seen it explained to you many times by more knowledgeable people here on this thread. The language already exists to ban ITEMS that make the weapon perform better. It is a Democrat backdoor effort to ban actual useful items.

I won't TELL you, but I'll make the suggestion to you that if you really are the type willing to open fire on a law enforcement officer following lawful orders, you may not want to proclaim that on a public forum beforehand. Not in these days where "See something, say something" is starting to get people's interest again.
I never heard of these things. How often are they used and for what purpose? Have you heard of them before? I have done quite a bit of shooting over the years and never heard of anyone using one. Some think this will lead to a disaster if they take these away? Can that be even remotely possible?
All he did is to empower them even more.
