Synopsis: After watching this interview this morning, my faith in Sessions is somewhat restored. However, there are some things that I have questions about.
Mr. Attorney General, this doesn't sound good. "Will be
." Implies the future tense. Is there no current investigation on this matter? You have to know who the perpetrators were already. Why has not the FISA court judge called them before her to explain the matter? Or has she? We, in the public, don't know. Yes, I know the FISA court is the most secret of court processes in the United States, but that was before they were caught red-handed handing out a warrant to spy on candidate Trump based on at least shady information, so now that specific incident MUST be opened to the public. This is the most serious matter in the history of American presidential elections. It cannot be covered up.

But what I like about Sundance's theory about the future political timing of the indictments and arrests is that it fits Trump's way of doing business: despite his apparent hotheaded Tweets, Trump won't act unless the conditions are most faborable, such as when he postponed running in 2012 until 2016. Same thing seems to apply with Trump going after the cabal.
With all due props to Sundance, I think he's dead wrong on that analysis.
Sessions recused himself under oath. That wasn't just a 'Boy Scout's' promise. There are legal guidelines that regulate the act of recusal.
Sessions is barred from having anything to do with any investigation into any matter that is even tangentially connected to the 2016 election. That includes everything Mueller is investigating, and everything the various congressional committees are investigating.
If he's truly working behind the scenes, as so many of his few remaining supporters insist, he'd better not leave a single fingerprint on anything he does, or it will all be thrown out by the courts, and he'll face serious repercussions for violating the law.
It's well worth waiting until November to see if Sundance is right about Sessions.
The political benefits as well as the simultaneous judicial benefits of attacking not now but before November seems to be a winning play.
Sessions ‘inactivity’, like his GOP swamp buddies in congress (resisting and stalling on the Trump agenda), is going to guarantee disaster for the upcoming elections.
I honestly don't understand why so many otherwise intelligent people don't see what Sessions is doing here.
To put it bluntly, he won't sh!t, and he won't get off the pot.
He's essentially rendered the office of Attorney General null and void, and has relinquished all power (where it comes to the coup) to the enemies of the republic.
Like General McClellan in Lincoln's time, he won't fight, and he won't surrender his post to someone who will.
So go for a February surprise instead? It’s never been done before. Wanna know why? Because it’s worse than premature ejaculation. That’s why October surprises are a political tradition: the odds of them working are strong.
“What’s great about Sundance’s theory is that we will see if he is right or wrong about Sessions by November. “
Sessions has already done catastrophic damage to the Trump Presidency and to his momentum. He single handily gave legitimacy to the ‘russian collusion’ hoax by his recusal. He put Obama’s corrupt stooges, RR & mueller in charge of the DOJ. How much more damage does the rat bastard have to do?
And the Trump presidency is strong and rising in the polls, despite what Sessions is or is not doing.
Exactly. Refusing to do his job and refusing to step down.
I remember being so enraged when he first recused himself. Boiling rage. I knew then Sessions farked us big time.
8 years of wholesale treason and lawlessness under the O’muslim regime and Sessions recuses himself in the face of a hoax. SMH.
Thanks.
The mueller coup, enabled by that rat bastard Sessions, is going full steam ahead.
Pardon me if I find cold comfort in that idea. Such brilliant strategies never seem to come to pass for our side.
The plot to overthrow our duly elected president is deep and wide. Even with the swiftest justice, it will take years to root out the worst of the rot in our federal government.
An October Surprise isn't going to cut it this time. The public will need to see revelations of massive, widespread wrongdoing on the part of the Democrats, from now until November, for it to make any difference.
It's fugging treason. Sessions needs to be fired.
Nope. Not buying it.
God's man in the office of AG would be a Gideon. He'd be a Daniel. He'd be a man who would stand up boldly and declare that he would not be a part of the status quo ante of playing along.
Little Jeffy is no more than a gasping fish out of water. I pray every day that God expose him publicly for the moral coward he has proven himself to be, and that He grant the little swamp weasel just enough spine to resign.
Comments like this are particularly unhelpful. I will stand with Jeff Sessions until I see evidence to the contrary. There has been none. He is honest, honorable and fiercely patriotic. He will continue to use all of his legal acumen, and doggedness to return the DOJ to probity and punish lawbreakers.
His progress needs to remain unsung until all the guilty have had their information extracted, all the implicated have been entrapped. That is what I saw in the interview. Jeff Sessions will never bow to external pressure and reveal any workings of the DOJ to take the heat off himself at the price of allowing the evil doers to escape justice.
I don’t usually bother to reply to Sessions haters since like Trump haters they are not amenable to logical discourse but its the middle of the night and I am in a weakened condition.
There is plenty for Sessions to work on behind the scenes that does not involve the Trump campaign which is where the recusal starts & stops.
I agree. What it will take is a steady and continual drip of corruption revelations. Every week from now until November, have some new smelly thing drip out, until people are disgusted with the swamp.
Could it be that he is in the shadows waiting and allowing the media to look shake there head and walk away from him. Could it be he is waiting for his call to duty
