Reported Shooting Being Investigated at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland: BSO

Authorities are investigating a reported shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland Wednesday.

Officers responded to the school at 5901 Pine Island Road for the reported shooting, Broward Sheriff's Office officials said.

There were reports of victims, BSO officials said.

Coral Springs Police tweeted that that people should stay away from the school due to an active police scene.

No other information was known.

I don't remember the birthplace being a big thing on the news.

In this case, as in most school shootings, where the shooter is from is the town where the shooting took place.
