The heads of six top U.S. intelligence agencies said on Tuesday that Russian interference in American democracy has not diminished since the 2016 presidential race and is continuing in advance of this years midterms.
During a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing in Washington, D.C., the directors of CIA, FBI, National Intelligence, National Security Agency, Defense Intelligence Agency and National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency were asked to reaffirm their view that Moscows election meddling has continued since the election of President Trump. They did so unanimously.
Frankly, the United States is under attack, Dan Coats, the director of National Intelligence, said at the start of Tuesdays hearing. Under attack by entities that are using cyber to penetrate virtually every major action that takes place in the United States.
Influence operations, especially through cyber means, will remain a significant threat to U.S. interests, Coats continued. Russia probably will be the most capable and aggressive source of this threat in 2018.
The director warned that the Kremlin will continue to use sympathetic spokesmen to advance its disinformation agenda, pushing propaganda, social media, false-flag personas and other means of influence to try to exacerbate social and political fissures in the United States.
There should be no doubt that Russia perceives its past operations as successful, Coats added.

Hell, I’d be happy to have to show a drivers license.
Yep. The military could handle it without trying to overthrow the President.
The left sees the writing on the wall for the midterms. They know that they’re going to lose. So, they’re starting the Russia narrative early as a means to use it to explain their loss next November.
Sounds like Commie libs are gearing up for their next excuse when Republicans keep the house and Senate
All the military intelligence agencies report to Dan Coats, Director of National Intelligence who is in President Trump’s cabinet.
Heck yes.
They know that liberals are way, way better for Russia than are conservtives. (Note, I didn’t name parties, since the RINOublicans are acting suspiciously like liberals, and everyone knows that the dimbulbcrat party is swinging left so rapidly we may have to reexamine those speed of light limits.
How????????????????????
T H I S
Does this mean Sarah Palin and Mitt Romney were right all along???
Good thing Obama was flexible in his reset with Putin....
Here we go again, more McCarthyist Propaganda.
They’re beyond attacking they’re infiltrating. Look how much the Democrats thwart President Trump and seek to mire his presidency in scandal? Isn’t that the perfect venue for somebody attacking our system? How about Hollywood and Big tech countries. They’ve sold us out for access to other markets.
Russians, my ass. The treasonous democraps and their accomplices in the MSM have been doing a bang-up job at his for decades.
Or maybe it is the CIA with their little Russia, Russia, Russia cyber tool.
I guess that means the Republicans are winning the mid terms - the MSM is starting to set the narrative that “Russia Stole the Mid Terms” for Trump
How????????????????????
Did Russia attack the Alabama senate election too?
Russia? Read: Trump campaign gaining momentum, intel and media to crack down on free speech
These people are not pursuing Russia, because if they were they also would pursue Chicom and the British who also interfere comprehensively
Reads like the Deep Swamp telephone directory ...
A.G.N.T.S.A.?
Obviously the agencies are infested with Obama and Rat lovers. Screw them and their Fake Assessments.
Funny they are incensed by this, yet have missed the dozens of planned terror attacks, including 9/11. What the heck do they do?
