WEST HAVEN, Utah -- When Natalie Richards sixth-grade daughter told her she couldnt say no if a boy asked her to dance at Kanesville Elementarys Valentines Day dance, she didnt believe it at first.

“Ah, but do you know the area code??”
I’d just try every one until I find it. :-)
We had them at proms, but nobody used them. I am glad to learn from the FReeper whom I had answered that they are being used.
Do the girls twerk as they do in high school?
No way. Plenty of style in those dresses, but these are practicing Catholic families with lots of kids of all ages and a low tolerance for Slut Culture.
My wife would kick their butts in mid-twerk, but good.
(That would be a funny video clip.)
The only male I danced with until 8th grade was my father. I was in Catholic school in 6th grade. I don’t recall refusing a dance, because I thought that it was impolite.
Now they have boy-girl school dances in sixth grade?
Sixth grade (11-12 years old) is still considered primary school. In my day parents would not approve either dating or “going steady” for their sixth grade kids.
The earliest school dance we had was in 7th grade, and it was an afternoon dance for the Junior High kids (7-9th grade).
Better get a restraining order. ;-)
Ill keep an eye out for ya.
Lol. Thanks!
I have one in my treasures of trash. Filled out and with the little pencil still attached. Guess I am a bit dated. No pun intended.
:)
