Tuesday on the Senate floor, Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) criticized President Donald Trump for the remarks he gave in Ohio a day earlier.
During those remarks, he called some Democrats “treasonous” for not applauding the positive economic news at his State of the Union address.
Partial transcript as follows:
Mr. President, last fall I had the honor to stand in this chamber and deliver remarks on the subject of a great and growing concern to me, the stewardship of our democracy at the hands of the most powerful figure in our government. I stand again today to sound the same alarm. Mr. President, words matter. Have we arrived at such a place of numb acceptance that we have nothing to say when a president of the United States casually suggests that those who choose not to stand or applaud his speech are guilty of treason? I certainly hope not. One who levels such a charge knows neither the meaning of treason nor the power that the words of a president carry. And if we are numb to such words, then we will surely regret that we failed to defend our colleagues in the Congress against such a vile remark. Our silence will also mark the day that we failed to recognize that this conduct in an American president simply is not normal.

Flake, like all of the Leftards is LYING about POTUS Trump’s remarks. He did not say people who don’t applaud him are treasonous. He said that people who want bad things to happen to AMERICA so long as it makes Trump look bad are treasonous. He was standing up for our COUNTRY. Flake is a real POS.

What’s Flake’s problem?
President Trump takes NO SALARY, (or he donates it to worthy causes),
He has kept the majority of his campaign promises, and working on the rest,
He loves and respects the military and veterans,
He has improved the finances of countless American corporations, and their employees.

Supposedly Flake is going to run against Trump in 2020. He’s going to find out that everytime he opens his mouth to belittle and mock Trump is going to put another nail in the coffin of his higher office aspirations.
