Black members of Congress made sure they would be heard last night, even if President Donald Trump was doing all the talking.
Members of the CBC (Congressional Black Caucus) wore brightly colored yellow, green, black and red kente cloth accents to President Trumps first State of the Union address, as a sign of defiance against his sh*thole* comments about African and Caribbean countries.
The whole idea was to show support for Africa, particularly after the President called Africa and Haiti s-holes, said Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) in an exclusive interview with theGrio. We thought it would be important for us to demonstrate our support in some way.

I hope they are thinking about changing Haiti from being a poverty stricken polluted ghetto to a tourist paradise soon..... Nah, they never will
You sure her name wasnt Tawana Brawley?
Can anyone please tell me of ANY world benefit that has ever come out of Africa without western influence?
I thought we were past *sitting in the back of the bus*.
They want to separate themselves out....so be it. Hypocrites.
Fools. Damn fools.
Looks like the Olympic booger-picking team.
Right. Honor the kente cloth, while showing nothing but contempt for the American flag. Dishonorable leftist congresscritters showing their true colors.
I wonder if Maxine Waters and any other pro-Africa protestors have LIVED in Africa for longer than a day or longer than a safari? If they have visited only white people they may not appreciate the Arabic holes in the ground, the plumbing pipe coming even with the ground and the general filth of feces around the holes due to the high level of diarrhea experienced by many in Africa routinely. When they have walked the talk of an African citizen, I might respect them a little more...not much I think.

Corrected: of servitude to their Democrat Overseers.
I remember when they wore American flag accessories when Obama callled half the country bitter clingers, or when Hildabeast called that same half deplorable.
They like to prance about like those despotic dictator peacocks in Africa
It is. lol
Next year, Trump needs to make disparaging comments about circus clowns and prisoners. Then let’s see what these boneheads dress up as.
Those big cast-iron black kettles used to cook Bugs Bunny in?
Yes, and no support for the United States of America.
It might be a hot-selling novelty item to manufacture rolls of Charmin, etc, with those fancy colored motifs. Then, when you put it to good use, it would be a reminder of those countries every time. What a nice way of empathizing with how they live over there.
You comment reminds me of what Muhammad Ali said after being in Africa.
“In the early 1970s Muhammad Ali fought for the heavyweight title against George Foreman. The fight was held in the African nation of Zaire; it was insensitively called the “rumble in the jungle.” Ali won the fight, and upon returning to the United States, he was asked by a reporter, “Champ, what did you think of Africa?” Ali replied, “Thank God my granddaddy got on that boat!”

I thought they were wearing the kente cloth, to have a Kunta Kinte moment.
That personified “ I’M AN IDIOT WHO HATES AMERICA”!!!
Rates right up there with teaching young black kid “esteem” while failing to teach them respect or reading, math, etc...
