With A Single Question, Meghan McCain Leaves Democrat Senator Stammering
The Federalist ^ | 1/29/18 | Bre Peyton

Posted on 01/29/2018 7:03:05 PM PST by markomalley

During Monday’s episode of “The View,” co-host Meghan McCain asked Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand if Hillary Clinton should be held to the standards Gillibrand has been advocating concerning sexual harassment.

After lambasting President Trump and former Republican National Committee finance chairman Steve Wynn over multiple allegations of sexual harrassement and assault, Gillibrand was stumped when McCain asked her if Hillary Clinton should be chastised for keeping an aide on her campaign after a woman accused him of sexual harrassement in 2007.

“You are a longtime supporter of the Clintons and consider her a mentor. Do you think her response this weekend was appropriate?” McCain asked.

Gillibrand stammered for a few seconds before saying she didn’t know all the details, and that the attention should be focused on the sexual harassment women face in the workplace, which is precisely what’s at issue with Clinton’s aide.

“As you know I think these things have to be dealt with — whether a Democrat or a Republican,” Gillibrand said. “You need transparency, you need accountability, and no one is above criticism. But in that case I don’t know all the details. I don’t know if the punishment she chose was the right punishment. But what it does bring us to talk about is this issue of workplace harassment.”

“A lot of people were really surprised it took you 20 years to say Bill Clinton should’ve resigned over the Lewinksy scandal, so what do you say to that?” McCain asked the Democratic senator.

“I think this moment of time that we’re in is very different,” Gillibrand said. “I think many of us did not have that same lens, myself included, but today we are having a very different conversation. And there is a moment in time where we can actually do the right thing, or fixate on one president.”

“Do you regret campaigning with him though?” McCain asked.

Gillibrand did not acknowledge the question or answer it, and continued to opine about the #MeToo movement.

“It’s not about any one president and it’s not about any one industry,” she said. “And if we reduce it to that we are missing the opportunity to allow women to be heard, to allow women to have transparency, to allow women to have justice. ”

You can watch the entire segment below. The exchange between McCain and Gillibrand starts at about the five minute mark.

Isn’t Gillibrand the one who refers to “chained” migration/immigration?

Gillebrand is your typical leftist twit Democrat woman. She’s trying to position herself for a run in 2020, but all she’s doing is regurgitating leftist talking points on abortion and the so-called war on wimmienz. Never mind that she and her ilk are hypocrites to the Nth degree.

"about 4 years ago which authorized the wholesale slaughter of Canada geese on Federal wildlife preserves. "

WHAT?!!

I've been wondering why there were less geese in the past few years. They used to fly over my property causing such a racket. What a beautiful sight. Had a couple of geese nest on my property. Every year they would return to the same spot. Haven't seen them lately. Miss them. Thought it was something I did to my property which they didn't like. Now I'm pi**ed to find out that that bleach blonde had them killed.

Big time. What I find to be interesting is these people stammer and try to make excuses for both Bill and Hillary based on what it was like “back in the day”, but yet they are at the same time trying to hold other people accountable today without any proof at all for alleged actions taken 20 years ago or more.

HA!

Not knowing “all of the details” hasn’t kept you from flapping you gums in the past!

There was NO PUNISHMENT!!!!!
Hillary reassigned the VICTIM!!!!

Here are a couple of stories from the bill this bimbo pushed in 2012, authorizing the slaughter of every Canada goose in Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge in Queens---while being supportive of the construction of a GARBAGE DUMP---which would attract more birds---in the near vicinity of the airport. This goose-killing authorization was hidden in a bill about increasing food stamps, showing what a moral coward she is. BTW, she was ALSO supportive of Odungo's Iran nuclear deal. Shows you the "judgment" capabilities of this demo-ditz.

Megan McCain has displayed some red pill clarity in the past month or so. I wonder what got into her?

You might not want to go there. 98 other Senators signed onto "Odungo's Iran nuclear deal" including the self-proclaimed "constitutional conservative" Ted Cruz.

I live in New York. When Hillary left this Democrat sinecure (when she assumed it was her turn in 2008), it was up to Chuck Schumer, as power broker in NY, to fill it with someone who would not outshine him. He chose well.

Schumer gets to speak on all the “big boy” issues - Defense, Budget, SCOTUS, Foreign Affairs. Gillibrand gets all the secondary, female issues - she gets to utter cliches about “women’s rights,” “family issues,” and immigrants. The Democrats think they have something for everyone in NY.

Ask Gillebrand what a cigar is good for? That should leave her stammering for about an hour.

She’s so dumb she makes Mark Warner sound almost sane.

Good thing he didn't call her heavyweight.

(Meghan can probably relate to that.)

Isn’t Gillibrand the one who refers to “chained” migration/immigration?

Actually, that maggot would be Dickie "Turban" Durbin, the senatorial disgrace from the disgraceful State of Illinois, where I was born (a famous criminal by the name of Daley signed my long form).

When questioned about the exact word DJT applied to certain countries during a recent meeting about immigration policy, Durbin responded (boldface added):

When I mentioned that fact to him, he said, “Haitians, do we need more Haitians?” Then he went on and started to describe the immigration from Africa that was being protected in this bipartisan measure. That’s when he used these vile and vulgar comments, calling the nations they come from “shitholes,” The exact word used by the president — not just once but repeatedly.

That was the nature of this conversation. When it came to the issue of, quote, “chain migration,” I said to the president, do you realize how painful that term is to so many people? African-Americans believe they migrated to America in chains and when you talk about chain migration, it hurts them personally. He said, "Well, that's a good line."

Surely, Senator Durbin knows the meaning of the term "chain migration". Surely, he knows that it has absolutely nothing to do with slavery or racism.

But, psst! He's betting the sheeple don't! And, in the case of your typical Chicagoan, he is most likely right. He's a Democrat politician, after all. They know their audience!
