Alec Baldwin on Sunday continued to defend embattled director Woody Allen, who has been dogged by sexual abuse claims against him by adopted daughter, Dylan Farrow.
Previously, Baldwin called her allegations unfair and sad. On Sunday, he took it a step further and compared Dylan Farrow to Mayella Ewell, the character in the classic "To Kill a Mockingbird," who falsely accuses an African American man of rape.

These are the same people who for decades have supported child-rapist Roman Polanski.
The way Baldwin treats his own daughter makes you wonder about about him as well.
The United States has become a place where entertainers like Alec Baldwin and professional athletes are mistaken for people of importance.

Robert A. Heinlein Quotes and Sayings
[T]here seems to have been an actual decline in rational thinking. The United States had become a place where entertainers and professional athletes were mistaken for people of importance.
They were idolized and treated as leaders; their opinions were sought on everything and they took themselves just as seriously-after all, if an athlete is paid a million or more a year, he knows he is important ... so his opinions of foreign affairs and domestic policies must be important, too, even though he proves himself to be ignorant and subliterate every time he opens his mouth.

I have no idea who’s telling the truth
The Farrow family is split on Dylan’s veracity
Mia or Woody
Take your pick of nutz
But the fact t Allen absconded with his proto step daughter who he helped raise from age 8 onwards
And had first sex with when she wa late teens and he was mid 50s
Yep...
It’s easy to believe he raped Dylan Farrow
No question he’s a freak
What is it about little immature impish men who only relate to children?
I agree. In a he said/she said situation, either side could be telling the truth. Best not commit one's self to either side as there is no way to know who is telling the truth with 100% certainty. The fact that Allen married his step-daughter does make him look like a cradle-robber, but the allegations about Dylan could have been fabricated because Mia and the Wood-man were in the midst of an acrimonious divorce.
I would have thought leaving your wife and marrying your adopted step-daughter would be too low even for Hollywood...
But I guess not.
Can you imagine if Trump did that?
Great Heinlein quote!
This moron always goes too far - it is apparently in his DNA. What started as a defense of Allen (who wasn’t charged with any crime by the police) and a deserved outing of Mia Farrow as a complete nut who has managed to destroy half her family over this alleged story, has now jumped the shark thanks, once again, to Alec Baldwin.
Well, it’s not clear at all if anything happened.
1) Dylan Farrow’s older brother Moses was there the whole time. He says Dylan and Allen were never alone and nothing happened. He says the whole thing was made up by Mia Farrow, which is also the conclusion of the report by the Princeton investigators.
2) When a sexual abuser is exposed, a flood of other victims typically come forward. Bill Cosby, Harvey Weinstein, Bill Clinton for example. It didn’t happen with Allen. One movie assistant said she was 17 when she had an affair with Allen, but that’s all I’ve read about.
Allen has always maintained his innocence and said the story of abuse was ingrained in Dylan’s mind by his ex-wife, Mia Farrow.
Entirely probable. I recall Mia telling a story years ago about catching Woody engaged in a completely disgusting act with one of their preteen daughters. It was shocking how unemotional she was while retelling this story.
Why Baldwin steps in this every chance he gets is odd. I know the guy idolizes Woody, but I dont think him constantly reminding the public about these accusations are going to ensure any rolls in future Woody Allen projects.
Mayella wasn’t raped at all. That’s the whole point. She was given a black eye by her father.
But with Roman Polanski, that apparently is different because Whoopi Goldberg said it wasn’t rape rape.
What the hell is rape rape, as opposed to raping a child?
From the context we gather than Whoopi and other Hollywood idiots are trying to tell us it wasn’t as bad as it could have been. So we are to be grateful that Polanski didn’t go full serial killer on her and strangle the girl?
The part of the Polanski case which seldom gets talked about, is that he is a fugitive because he fled America to avoid justice. He and his attorneys were working out a plea bargain, but rather than face that, Polanski ran away.
So these Polanski apologists apparently endorse international flight to avoid prosecution.
I wish his career was over, but Baldwin’s career has nine lives. He’s even doing movie intros on TCM with that other weird reprobate has-been, David Letterman.
Baldwin has that lethal combination of arrogant self-righteousness, a bad temper and a penchant for shooting his mouth off before he thinks. Defending Woody Allen in such obnoxious terms seems designed to make everyone hate him.
We used to raise pigs.
A Sow with a litter of 12 was a kind & gentle soul compared to Baldwin.
Alec Baldwin Calls His Own 11 Year Old Daughter A 'Rude, Thoughtless Pig' (2007)
YouTube Of Phone Call: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8J0-ZatDHug
Alec Baldwin apologised for his angry voicemail to his daughter, blaming the stress of his custody fight with Kim Basinger
and insisting: "I have a normal relationship with my daughter.""I'm sorry, as everyone who knows me is aware, for losing my temper with my child," the actor wrote on his web site,
following the release of the message."I have been driven to the edge by parental alienation for many years now. You have to go through this to understand.
(Although I hope you never do.) I am sorry for what happened," he added.http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-449775/Alec-Baldwin-apologises-calling-daughter-11-rude-thoughtless-pig.html
Alec, when did you stop beating your ex-wife, Kim Basinger?
But if you watch the movie of his band touring Europe, he and his wife seem quite happy together.
Have not seen him on any Capital One commercials lately. They just use racists - Jackson, Lee, Barkley - now. Unreal. I try to turn the channel whenever those commercials are run.
