With his Justice Department and FBI facing broad attacks from some of his former colleagues on Capitol Hill, Attorney General Jeff Sessions said on Friday that he’ll stand up to any “unfair” attacks on the men and women of the Justice Department he now oversees. Sessions, in a speech in Norfolk, Virginia, on Friday, mentioned the “sharp criticisms” of DOJ coming from Congress. He said the Justice Department demands “the highest level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism from every person” in it, and that all employees are expected to “advance the mission of the Department honorably” in the service of the American people. “If anyone falls short of these high standards, we will not hesitate to take appropriate action, and we will do so in accordance with the rules and procedures of the Department,” Sessions said. “And, while we are open to fair criticism, we will of course defend our investigators and prosecutors from criticism that is unfair.”

If any of those cats had been fired, due process would have been afforded the employees. Followed by an appeal to he NLRB. They would still be getting paid plus the US would have been footing the bill for a butt load of attorneys fees.

“He said the Justice Department demands “the highest level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism from every person” in it, and that all employees are expected to “advance the mission of the Department honorably” in the service of the American people.”

How about the Justice Department demands that employees actually start doing their jobs and arresting the ocean of criminals out there?

“I’ve been getting the feeling that sessions recused himself as part of the conspiracy.”

Duh. It was obvious at the time of his recusal and the subsequent appointment of a soviet style special counsel by Sessions’ hand picked DAG, that this coup was orchestrated from the get-go.

Some like Larry Klayman are speculating that Mueller has told Seesions he will indict him for lying to Congress or Obstruction if he doesn’t do his bidding, to keep him in line. As good a reason as we’ve heard, cause what Sessions is doing sure doesn’t make sense.

All those twitter idiots...imperator-rectum, wictor, anonymous queer, etc should deactivate their accounts and go do something else with their time.

Actually the Qdoofus is coming around. I believe in one of his last drips, he said that Trump will fire Sessions, if Sessions doesn't clean house after the memo is released.

Sessions has shown very little public evidence of allegiance to the success of his boss.

Unfair’s rosy red butt, you worthless pussy.

A real man in your position would have produced some results.

What a plus...They’ve been embarrassingly wrong for so long they need to bow out of the game.

Removing any doubt that Sessions is one of the worst picks in history.

The Hatch Act forbids civil servants from engaging in political activities while performing their duties. I'm pretty sure Strzok, Page, McCabe and a few others have done that. Let their attorneys try going to court. That should be Sessions' position.

And never mind that Constitutionally, all people who work in the executive branch should only serve at the pleasure of the president. That's how it was before the Hatch Act. That's the Constitutional anti Swamp position.

The beady-eyed deep-state compromised rat bastard chose Rosenstein as his DAG...

This whole sequence of events that lead to a special counsel to overthrow a lawfully elected POTUS was orchestrated by the corrupt state and Jeff Sessions.

Someone here said early on that Sessions insinuated himself into the Trump campaign to sabotage it. I thought that was a little far fetched at the time. It’s painfully obvious now.

I am very familiar with the Hatch Act. Perhaps you should familiarize yourself on the due process steps afforded all federal employees.

What a weenie snowflake!
Maybe he should talk to Trump about 'unfair criticism...'

That is OK, right?
Guess who is more important?
WHO IS A TOTAL FAIL AT DOING HIS JOB?

WHO ISN'T?
