If any of those cats had been fired, due process would have been afforded the employees. Followed by an appeal to he NLRB. They would still be getting paid plus the US would have been footing the bill for a butt load of attorneys fees.
The Hatch Act forbids civil servants from engaging in political activities while performing their duties. I'm pretty sure Strzok, Page, McCabe and a few others have done that. Let their attorneys try going to court. That should be Sessions' position.
And never mind that Constitutionally, all people who work in the executive branch should only serve at the pleasure of the president. That's how it was before the Hatch Act. That's the Constitutional anti Swamp position.
