During the conversation, according to the report, Kerry asked Agha to convey a message to Abbas and ask him to "hold on and be strong.".... Tell him, he told Agha, "that he should stay strong in his spirit and play for time, that he will not break and will not yield to President Trump's demands." ....According to Kerry, Trump will not remain in office for a long time. It was reported that within a year there was a good chance that Trump would not be in the White House.
He asked Abbas, through Agha, not to attack the US or the Trump administration, but to concentrate on personal attacks on Trump himself, whom Kerry says is solely and directly responsible for the situation.
According to the report, referring to the president, Kerry used derogatory terms and even worse. Kerry offered to help create an alternative peace initiative and promised to help garner international support, among others, of Europeans, Arab states and the international community. Kerry hinted that many in the American establishment, as well as in American intelligence, are dissatisfied with Trump's performance and the way he leads America.

As a private citizen, Kerry has no business whatsoever talking to a foreign leader. There are laws against that sort of thing. And here he was going against official U. S. policy. I’d love to see the Justice Department charge him.
What did Kerry know, and when did he know it? And WHY did he know it?

No surprise at John Kerry’s most recent bit of sedition.
His first diplomatic job was working for North Vietnam against the United States. During his “honeymoon” with wife #1 in Paris, he met with the future communist Vice President of Vietnam in a hotel. Upon his return to the USA he dutifully hammered forth the communist talking points and war aims in a series of appearances, including before congress. Which of course was the jump start to his long miserable career of hating America, its values and its people.

I know....they don’t even hide their treasonous ploys any more. They move about without any concern for authority or fear of....just push the stuff in everyones face.
It is treason. However demorats standard response when caught or pressed is the usual apology and then they just keep on going. They have no reason to fear as they’re never prosecuted.
But dems think even as private citizens they have a rightful voice to express themselves to anyone including Int’l. Leaders as they’re just visiting ‘friends’.

But he is a liberal Democrat so he will not be punished for any laws he would break, it is the way they operate in Washington...

Well, I doubt Kerry was very happy when folks did this when he was Secretary of State. Of course nobody went to the Arabs on the West Bank and tried to go against U. S. policy back then.
They may have back channeled Israelis though.

If there's anyone dumber than Kerry in this sphere of foreign relations, Abbas is it. The unaccomplished sidekick of Yasser who can't even garner enough support to stand for election more than once. Kerry envies that.
If Abu Mazen had half a brain, alternately if he cared a whit about the Arabs in his charge who call themselves palestinians, he'd immediately engage in negotiations brokered by the US. My guess, he could get about the same deal they've turned down three times since Bubba and Camp David. Territorial swaps. East Jerusalem as their capital. And no, President Trump is not opposed to that, he opened the door to it. Bibi might not like that. He'd build a legacy. When he dies, the terrorists fight for control. Which they'll do anyway if he cuts a deal. But what good are the tens or hundreds of millions in France if you can't enjoy them. Ask Suha. But he won't. The planner of the Munich Olympics slaughter can't recognize that his mild concession would just be a giant step along the phased plan. Arafat was stupid in that respect as well.
