What an arrogant pri$k!
And you are the early warning fart detector. So what; he is supposed to make speeches and point out the irresponsibility. It’s his job. He has proposed measures before and the majority of the repiublicans are irresponsible. Do you support the RINOs in the senate or are you one of them?
half the pop is democrat, so he has a point
BOVINE EXCREMENT!
><
Can you name 3 or 4 senators who are more conservative than Rand Paul?
PAUL’S A KOOK! PAUL’S OFF HIS MEDS!
You don’t have to approve of Rand Paul, his politics, or his vote, but seriously: “commits TREASON** against DJT” ??
1. You are not supposed to change headlines (unless you wish you were attempting to post a vanity...)
2. Hyperbole, favorite tool of the left, does not help the cause.
Frankly, I think John McCain is far closer to having committed Treason, reserve that term for him.
**the offense of attempting by overt acts to overthrow the government of the state to which the offender owes allegiance or to kill or personally injure the sovereign or the sovereign’s family
I don’t see that he turned on DJT. He doesn’t like the CR for fiscal reasons.
FURP!
I’m all for fiscal restraint, but this is the wrong time rand Paul, dumb move.
Rand Paul is one of the few politicians that doesn’t bend on principle.
Unwavering Pro-Life and unwavering 2nd Amendment.
The poster wrote his own title, but I see the title has been changed to the correct one.
And that Lyin’ Ted Cruz lines up at 93.1% with Trump.
I believe Rand Paul’s fiscal stances are just act. They all have their roles to play. Trey Gowdy must always play the part of the guy that asks hard questions in investigations that never go anywhere. In the end, they are all just swamp dwellers.
Come on. This is all pre-arranged in advance. Trump doesn’t have a stronger ally in the Senate than Rand Paul.
Senator Rand Paul turns on DJT.
and this is not the first time.
I disagree. I agree with everything Rand Paul said in the article. Now, if we could just get a majority of either party to think like he does, we’d see a huge turnaround in our country. But sadly, Paul is just spitting in the wind, because until we get a majority of REAL conservatives in office, he’s about the only one who’s thinking straight. He’s more conservative than most of the conservatives in congress, though he’s a libertarian. He’d make a FABULOUS Speaker!. But in the meantime, yes, maybe he should have voted in favor of the spending bill, but he’s standing on his principles, and besides, he knew the democrats weren’t going to let us get to 60 votes.
Trump needs to demand the RNC cut these people off and have McConnell remove them from the committee leadership positions.
How dare a republican actually take a stand against massive government spending!!!
Senator Rand Paul is basically correct. We do have ridiculously obscene spending in many areas but is THIS the time to be making his point? Do we need to shut the government down to “have a rigorous debate” about his concerns? Will we need t correct all of his “20 items” before we get his vote? He has ALL YEAR long for his debates about spending, why doesn’t he do it then? Imagine if every Senator waits until the budget vote to hold up government until they all agree with him?
He is a libertarian.
