Nothing in his reasoning states he did this because he backs the DEMs on illegal immigration. Appears to be purely for fiscal reasons.
Praises the tax cut. Points out ridiculous spending. Critcizes the deficit and continuing extensions. What am i missing. These are supportive of what trump said and the tax cut.

Because he voted no on the spending bill? That’s not treason, and it’s not aimed against Trump, either. I don’t think having a bad spending bill passed really helps Trump in any way - the Democrats are shutting down the government over illegal aliens, their voting base of the future. Let them own that fact and stew in it.
