You get the government you deserve. If you don’t want to show up and pull the lever, someone else will and you’ll play by their rules.
Over 90% of ALL news attacks Trump. Even the weather. Social media has been proven to shut down all pro Trump posts.
You mean this is having an effect when even the Republican politicians cower behind walls and won’t stand up against the Communists? Color me shocked.
The bottom line is that nonstop negative propaganda works. It kept the “captive nations” of the world in thrall to Communism for a long, long time. Sure, some people got over the wall. But most did not try.
You better do what you want to do while you have the power to do it, because you may not have that power for long.

Minorities weren’t thrilled about her because she’s just about the whitest woman who ever lived.
Bernie’s fans were highly cheesed-off at her because she cheated their guy out of a chance to win the nomination.
Whenever the Dems stumble upon a strategy that actually gets their supporters off the couch and to the polls (as they did with Obama twice) we’re in deep-doo because frankly they have us outnumbered.
In 2020 Oprah promising to forgive all the student loans could be unbeatable.
Shutting down the government will win their respect and their votes! Government shutdowns are VERY POPULAR!
Yes it’s all over. It was great while it lasted but all of us now have to report to our nearest retraining center now run by Democrats of course. We will get fitted for our chains and go back to dreaming about how things could have been if only the Republicans had won that race in Wisconsin.
The Democrats have learned that they can win in Republican districts by having all their followers show and concentrating a large part of their oceans of resources in special elections, where they can pick us off one by one. Republicans need to go into permanent campaign mode yesterday.

Is this a case of unusually heavy Dem turnout, or unusually low Rep turnout? Is there any evidence that Reps changed sides?

I think it’s Pubbie voters in safely red areas being in snooze mode. That’s what happened here in AL. Everyone knew Moore was a lock. He was such a lock that you could safely stay home if you found him unsavory, or if you just had other things to do than think about a special election. No one knew how fired up and organized the Democrats were going to be. There was a freight train coming but nobody was paying attention and we got run over. I would suggest that awareness and fear of Democrat enthusiasm is what’s needed about now.
