James Cameron has addressed allegations made by Eliza Dushku that she was sexually molested by a stunt coordinator on the set of his film True Lies, praising the actress for her bravery in coming forward.
Eliza is very brave for speaking up, Cameron told reporters at the Television Critics Associations winter press tour on Saturday, where he was promoting his AMC series Visionaries. Had I known about it, there wouldve been no mercy.
On Saturday, the 37-year-old actress alleged in a Facebook post that one of Hollywoods leading stunt coordinators, Joel Kramer, molested her during the filming of the Cameron-directed 1994 film when she was 12 years old. Kramer has denied the allegations, calling them atrocious lies in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

Gosh, I guess I just wish she’d said something 40 years ago when this came out! Or whatever.
Somewhere, as we speak, a female teacher—Guilty? Not Guilty?—is molesting a young male student. Without their important work we would never believe women are capable of moral agency!
25 years ago, but H’wood culture needed to be protected.
And yet ASPCA watches animal treatment “American Humane monitors animals in filmed media and holds the exclusive right to award its No Animals Were Harmed® end-credit certification to productions” since 1940
LOL Brave? True or not how is a woman alleging sexual misconduct by a man in this day and age brave? Either the public believes you and you get money and fame or just the feminists believe you and you get somewhat less money and fame. Its usually a completely risk free proposal, like spinning the wheel in the price is right or robbing a corpse on a deserted island.
Jamie Lee Curtis is too busy blaming President Trump for the Hawaiian wrong-button pushing. She doesn’t care about Eliza.

Are you really faulting a 12-year old girl for not coming forward right away?
I am faulting her parent or guardian for not being there. Hollweird lechery is well known and has been since 1920 to those in the industry.
The Actor’s Guild rep who was there to protect child actors himself molested boys. He fessed up on tape in the that documentary about Hollywood’s dark secret. He left that position after he was publicly exposed. Actor’s Guild attacked the film for linking him to them since he “no longer” was connected.
>>Eliza is very brave for speaking up, Cameron
She was a good little worker, wasn’t she James? She didn’t reveal this scandal at the time of the movie’s release forever tainting it in the public’s eyes and making it box office poison.
Now that it’s already made its millions, such a revelation isn’t a threat to your product.
That would be a hoot to see in the credits: Were reasonably certain no women or children were molested during the production of this film.
Someone needs to come up with an official-sounding feel good org name and logo, and start appending to the closing credits of movies,”No young women were molested during the making of this film.”
Tom Arnold found time to tweet he believes Eliza and retweet several times. He tweeted this morning.
Still waiting for Arnold & Jamie Lee to respond to tweets directed to them.

Ditto that. What parent or guardian let’s a 12 year old girl be alone with a man in a hotel room? Something is not correct here.
This is her in 1993, apparently previous year from “True Lies.” https://mobile.twitter.com/elizadushku/status/914482217610596352/photo/1
This Boy’s Life
Something doesn't pass the smell test.
Even if it is sexual assault there should be innocent until proven guilty. These are people’s lives being destroyed.
As for Cameron, I like most of his films, but;
A movie director’s bread and butter is day after day, observing, manipulating, and interpreting body language.
How could he not have known about it or suspected?
