New York Governor Andrew Cuomo mimicked California Gov. Jerry Brown’s approach to immigration Thursday, pardoning 18 convicted illegal immigrants who were facing deportation.
Cuomo, a Democrat, praised himself on Twitter for his compassion, before linking to a New York Times article supporting the move. Cuomo claimed the federal government is “tear[ing] families apart” with the current immigration policy and felt he was taking the “critical step” to defend those who were unfairly targeted.

Either Sessions does something now or there is no more immigration law in the United States.
These States are in rebellion against the federal government. Time and again we have been told that immigration is the exclusive domain of the federal government. Jerry Brown and his Mexican Mafia along with Cuomo the Lesser cannot have it both ways.

All he is doing is pardoning them for state crimes. He can’t pardon for immigration violations.
The treasonous Democrats are banking on unlimited illegal aliens keeping them in power indefinitely. We need to make sure that there aren’t enough illegal aliens to ever influence our politics again. It is vitally important that we get them the hell out of here and prevent them coming back illegally.

President Trump can and should order all criminals illegals deported, even if they are pardoned by America’s enemies on the left. Among other things, real Americans are being denied equal protection under the law if we are not granted the same special privileges as illegals. It’s the same double standard as with in-state tuition, where my (Maryland) kids would pay more for a state university in California than illegals would pay for the same university.
Deport all illegals. No exceptions. But make those who are pardoned a special priority.
Sessions is still busy looking at the eclipse.
While true a governor cannot pardon a Federal crime, s/he can pardon the state crime(s) that underlie the order of deportation, issued because of criminal activity. Wipe out the crime and supposedly the perp cannot be deported unless we finally start deporting people on the sole basis of illegal entry.
It would be interesting to find out just what crimes are being forgiven and how the victims feel about that.
