And there's Corker, of course, who opposed the bill earlier.

Such a damn shame that perhaps the greatest President our country has ever been blessed with is forced to govern without a legitimate loyal party!!!

If Kimmie nuked the capital, we’d get a complete do -over. These guys are all against Trump, and are reminiscent of that fake tv wrestling - called, “tag team”

Remember everybody, a perfectly good tax bill was passed by the Senate and rests back with the House for a final vote.

Fund an increase in the credit with money saved by ending all flow of cash from the government to illegal immigrants.

It’s the same as it was in the bill they both supported. They’re just mad because the “rich” dropped to 37% in exchange for 1% of the corporate and that’s what they were asking for in exchange for child tax cut changes. Now they feel as though there demands were at least as reasonable. They’re going to push for 21.94% (the .94 is what they were asking for originally). Stupid reason to kill the bill. Plus, can’t they just stop paying off illegals and use that money to give more to legals?

I’ve known that Rubio is a disguised saboteur of America for years but I’m beginning to have my suspicions of Lee also.

Sabotage— it’s what infiltrating fifth columnists do!

Why should people without kids subsidize people who have them?

Back in the day republican leaders in the senate and house knew how to twist arms, and use the carrot and the stick to keep pisants like Rubio thinking straight.

McConnell is a pathetic loser. Reid would never let a little pipsqueak junior senator hold legislation hostage to his grandstanding.

Geez, how much of a credit do they want? They would do so much better if they objected to the elimination of personal exemptions and the high-arsed top tax rate and the 30% abomination against pass-thru small businesses instead.

“Sen. Lee continues to work to make the [child tax credit] as beneficial as possible to American working families," Carroll said.

Considering the SIZE of families in UTAH; this is a SURE re-election bonus for him!

(How about NON-working families?)
