PHOENIX — Doctors found a second tumor in the brain of U.S. Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) in the same place as the surgically-removed original growth.
The 81-year-old senator told People magazine he was feeling fine despite the second tumor that was discovered during chemotherapy.

When I was about 12-13 I thought I had a rapidly growing tumor in my trousers.
Those and Syria, Libya and so many other brush battles around the world.
I draw no distinction amongst any of the Neocons.
Out of an abundance of concern, take away his doctors, and send him to the doctors my husband and I have had to settle for since McCain helped take away the good doctors we used to go to. And make him pay top dollar for the privilege. And let him have the same oncologist I was allowed to see last time I had cancer. None. That’s right. I didn’t get to see an oncologist for the colon cancer, thanks to McCain and others. Too bad McCain will get good medical care that he has deprived others of.

I’m glad John McCain (D-Arizona) was able to see Donald J. Trump become President of the United States of America before that tumor sends him to rot in hell.
Depends on the type and location. Some tumors grow faster than others, or affect more vital areas. IIRC, his tumor is in an area that controls judgment, and moral decision - making. I think that sort usually ends up eventuality causing destruction of blood vessels, which then leads to a brain hemorrhage, which causes death.or, it grows enough that it puts pressure on a blood vessel and causes a clot to form, which can also cause death. But I’m a nurse, not a doctor. If I’m wrong, I’m happy to be corrected.
While I respect his service and sacrifice I have grown to really dislike the old establishment swamp critter. Having said that I wish him the best in his recovery and not soon enough retirement.

I was just telling someone yesterday that I’m pretty sure he’s got cancer beyond the brain tumor. Didn’t he have 3 or 4 melanomas removed?

Same here. When he let - hell, probably directed - his campaign manager Steve Schmidt to take down Sarah Palin, he became the enemy.
