PHOENIX — Doctors found a second tumor in the brain of U.S. Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) in the same place as the surgically-removed original growth.
The 81-year-old senator told People magazine he was feeling fine despite the second tumor that was discovered during chemotherapy.

My cousin on Long Island...her husband died from a recurrence of a brain tumor in June, 2001. He was only is his late 40’s.
Then in September, 2001, my cousin’s best friend from high school lost her brother in the attack on the World Trade Center in NYC.
It was a rough year for my cousin.
Because McCain is intensely jealous of the man who won presidency without ever being shot down in a war and be captured by the enemy, and never served a day in any elected office before running for president, while McCain did. I am convinced that intense jealousy and bitterness exacerbated brain cancer. Since POTUS Trump is against the terrorists, McCain as a bonafide anti-Trumper, will be for the terrorists calling them freedom fighters.
Prayers offered up for his health and comfort.
A majority of children who go to state schools develop a life-long hatred of learning.
It makes for compliant manipulable voters, when they can be bothered to vote.
I ascribe his position to hatred for Trump and the way he namecalled everyone in the primaries. Trump lost a lot pf republicans because of it, including the Bushes. While we may have laughed and enjoyed it, many people were alarmed and don’t like him because of it.
I am so sorry. My husband died 15 days after his diagnosis of inoperable GBM. It took him so fast, I still can’t believe he is gone. Even if operable, GBM tumors grow back, so the prognosis is never good.
Just when he thought he was out of it, it pulled him back in.
He was doing it before Trump was running.
I just think he is evil.
But then, he hates me, not because I have done anything to him but because I choose not to fall down and worship.
I tend to have a very low opinion of such people.

Trump had the toughest job as a candidate running against seasoned carer politicians including governors and senators. He could have never won without merciless attacks on his competition.
Trump was liked by enough voters to win him the presidency. He was not running to be “liked” and lose the nomination. I attended one of his rallies during primaries. My first hand observation is that the 18,000 people who waited in 3-4 hour long lines to get into the venue absolutely loved Trump.
That implies he was ever qualified to make life altering decisions.
your analogy can be expanded. Sometimes you put everything into a game and it costs you the game next week and the ones the next season..
So sorry for the loss of your husband.
If he were truly the patriot he fancies himself, he would resign immediately. As it is he has probably already lost the ability to make an emotional final speech that he probably had planned.

True enough. How many innocent lives have been lost in the Middle East because of the policies that John McCain supported? IMHO he had a hand in the growth of ISIS.
