Former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon praised the Democratic National Committee (DNC) after it fought to defeat Roy Moore, Bannon's chosen candidate, in the Alabama Senate race on Tuesday:
You gotta give the devil its due, Bannon told Breitbart News host Alex Marlow on Wednesday. The DNC, Bannon suggested, slipped into the race and performed well on the ground. ADVERTISING
The DNC came in here slipped in here underneath the radar and did an amazing job of organizing what's my favorite word ground game, Bannon said.
He suggested that Democrats outworked Republicans and were able to drive voter turnout.

Are you shitting me?
Which enemy, the Dems or the GOP?
PC for “scorched earth”?
Ya gotta be shitting me.
Not too hard when your party is asleep at the wheel...or let go of it completely.
“Ground game” is code for “cheating.”
The Democratic slandered and spent their way into office.
Standard Rat tactics these days.
This is not a sport, jackass. It is deadly serious.
exactly
They had 14 times the money so you should have a better ground game. Mitch held back money for a number of weeks and only in the last week or so he let the money start flowing again.
The ground game in states is generally the party portion of the equation.
In state party leaders should be teaming up with national leaders to get out the vote.
It was not, and should not have been Bannon’s job to do this.
The party has the party rolls. It has the contact information.
Bannon shouldn’t have it.
I appreciate him pointing this out, because the Republican party should be ashamed of how they let all of us down in Alabama.
The devils were running amok in both camps in Alabama.
BULLcrap, Bannon. 50% of GOP voters stayed home because Moore was so despised.
And the RNC ground game was to withhold spending despite ludicrous increases in dnc spending?
They earned it.
Joe Trippi’s one of the best...
“50% of GOP voters stayed home because Moore was so despised.”
So I’m left wondering why we weren’t seeing an election between Mo Brooks and Jones? This whole mess had it’s roots in 1) Making Sessions AG and 2) Allowing the Alabama $hit governor appoint Luther Strange to try and keep from going to jail. The GOPe of Alabama (and the rest of the country too) were all too happy to put that POS Strange into Sessions seat. McConnell loved Strange, because he’s a “swamp person” and would have fit right in as Mitch continues to screw Trump. Lastly, I have to end up wondering just how Moore won the Primary in the first place?
After the Devil lost to Charlie Daniels, he went on over to Alabama.
You have to climb in the enemies gutter and fight them meaner. Nice guys come in last!!
So who would have been your candidate?
