My thoughts on the election from a teen...
ConservaTeen didn’t say that he ‘liked gays’ in the sense that he approved of the lifestyle - in fact, he said that he felt it is ‘wrong’.
He seemed to be saying that he happens to know and like some people who are gay. I think most people do, however they feel about homosexuality itself.
Thank you...I know I have lots to learn, but I’m trying....
Don’t let these jackasses on here get to you. Trump didn’t win because he banged a Bible or was Democrat lite. He put the US first. All the gay, illegal, trans, etc will sort itself out eventually as being against nature and your own good. Good luck. It’s your future.
Really, sweetie? ConservaTeen is just trying to get the Republicans to reach out to his generation and he is not wrong. Youths are more libertarian. His friends seen gays and transgendered people, it doesn’t affect them like it does us, because we never met them in our youth.
1. Please state your position on abortion laws
2. Please endeavor to reconcile your advocacy of small government with using the full force of government to make everyone recognize, endorse, and subsidize gay marriage
The same reason so many people in this country are single issue voters!
Tomi Lahren is an abortion advocate.
“Well, sweetie, you have to live in the world you create as a young adult. Get ready to spend your subsequent decades regretting these choices.”
Yup!
Good one.
You sound like my kids. They don’t like taxes or big govt, bug have quite a few gay friends.
They are split on immigration. One is very against all forms. The others don’t seem to mind illegal immigration.
True.
ConservaTeen said that his friends who are Democrats are Democrats only because of support for gays. In my interactions with young people, Ive found the same thing to be true for the most part. They definitely arent voting for Democrats based on Keynesian economics, and most of them dont support abortion. And yet...
“I am sticking with Trump...however, the GOP needs to outreach with the Millennials. Right now, from the report I seen from the Alabama election, that they voted for Doug more than 4 to 1.”
And that number 1 includes millennials who are Army Rangers, Marines, Navy SEALS and Airborne. Number 4 doesn’t stand a chance if number 1 decides to take over. I see little to no evidence that millennials in college understand duty or honor. Pick your friends wisely, ConservaTeen.
Exactly. Unless we start having gunpoint revivals, subtlety towards our ends will be the best bet.
It is ConservaTeen’s first posting. He was not upset with Roy’s loss, but he knows it is a wake up call. Youth are not church going people, most millennials are not big on religion, but Roy was quoting the Bible. We aren’t in a therocracy, so it did turned off youths.
We thought we knew everything in the 60s. Look how we screwed up.
So am I, when used against my enemies. It beats having to kill them when they are grown and can kill me and mine. That hill you choose to die on may not be yours, but your descendants.
Sorry, ConservaTeen knows that some of you will be against his post. We (Mrs. DeplorableAmerican and I) told him that he might get in trouble with FR, but we let him post. Youths are needed if the Conservative wing of the Republican Party wants to win. Now, most youth (the millennials) are going to the Dems because they are more comfortable. I might have to start an outreach...
You are spot on.
