Alabama votes on Tuesday in a special election to fill the Senate seat vacated by Jeff Sessions, now the attorney general. The last polls close at 8 p.m. Eastern. Strong support for Roy S. Moore, the Republican, is expected in rural, mostly white parts of the state and in its northern half. The Democrat, Doug Jones, aims to create a lead in the urban counties that include Birmingham and Montgomery, and across a band of largely black counties.
One critical battleground is a trio of smaller, whiter cities: Mobile, Tuscaloosa and Huntsville. Mr. Moore won a hard race in 2012 by keeping things close there. Mr. Jones hopes to win the cities by a convincing margin.

Doubt that. Madison is tech, and fairly conservative. There are other counties more susceptible. Most of the libs are in Jefferson.

I just get flabbergasted reading stuff like this. Who do you think created that narrative of Judge Moore coming across like Creepy Uncle Joe. It was the damn corrupt enemedia who did and you bought it hook, line, and sinker.
And lets call the DC swamp for who they really are, it's full of just a bunch of commie types, (dems) or commie-lite types (repubs) and you and your ilk think its more important to see the DC swamp fortified with another commie instead of a candidate, Judge Moore who at least has demonstrated he has a lot of respect for our Constitution (oh but the fake-news, lying media made him out to be another Creepy Joe so that seals it to not vote for Judge Moore, SMH).
When are Americans going to wake the eff up and see what has really taken over our governments???? Just like Trump, Judge Moore was a huge threat to the power and control they have over us, including their enemedia. I just have to shake my head at the horrible reasoning on why it's OK to send another commie to the DC swamp. We'll never get this country back on Constitutional grounds with terrible reasoning like that.

Oh my goodness... Michigan?? Well, it's sort of red for now. Their governor seems like an open borders GOPe type to me, though. Our CT governor is a full-blown commie that has put this state in financial distress.

So, it looks like Jones won by 13,000 votes or 1 percent. This is a lot less than the 10 percent lead the Fox Poll showed yesterday and a lot more than the Emerson College poll showed Moore ahead by (8 points). I suspect that Jones’ narrow winning margin was a combination of four things: 1) Shelby’s totally unnecessary public statement over the weekend that he was voting write-in; 2) the fact that the write-ins totaled 21,000 or far more than the ultimate margin for Jones; 3) the fact that Moore idiotically spent the final weekend of the campaign at the Army-Navy game in Philadelphia; and 4) the idiotic granting of the vote to Alabama felons by the Republican governor. She got no thanks for it from the felons or the community they melt into.
