Alabama votes on Tuesday in a special election to fill the Senate seat vacated by Jeff Sessions, now the attorney general. The last polls close at 8 p.m. Eastern. Strong support for Roy S. Moore, the Republican, is expected in rural, mostly white parts of the state and in its northern half. The Democrat, Doug Jones, aims to create a lead in the urban counties that include Birmingham and Montgomery, and across a band of largely black counties.
One critical battleground is a trio of smaller, whiter cities: Mobile, Tuscaloosa and Huntsville. Mr. Moore won a hard race in 2012 by keeping things close there. Mr. Jones hopes to win the cities by a convincing margin.

Fox News says it’s very, very tight.
the Flemish add a pinch of freshly grated nutmeg. Try it
In what is being described as a spurious, ruling, an Alabama court says officials can destroy all digital voting records for the states special Senate election between Republican Judge Roy Moore and Democrat Doug Jones.
I pray you’re right on Moore winning by ten, I’d love to see a margin like that after all the flak he’s taken.
I’ll settle for less just so he’s the winner but that margin of win or close to it will really tick off the Rats.
Part of me wants to turn on MSNBC at about 8:07 ET, but then, I’m afraid of doubling their ratings.....
I dont have OANN so they are basing that on what, their own exit polling or relying on Reuters

LOL gee, what happened to Fox News and their “Doug Jones will win by 10 points” now they say its very tight..a 10 point win is NOT very tight Fox News
8 pm EST
I'll try it! Thanks.
You need DirectTV to get OANN? what is the cost for DirectTV per month may I ask?
And do you end up with all the trashy channels? I would love to JUSt get OANN...
“If Fox Snooze is crying Moore is winning.”
So is A$$man on FBN filling in for Lou Dobbs. Lone “good guy” Charlie Hurt, says the issues favor Moore. And now Mollie Hemmingway is saying that if Moore wins, that she thinks Franken stays.
I believe Karl Rove called it “tighter than a tick”.
“Gave my husband and me a lovely chance to dance - hopefully in preparation for a real celebration of Alabama as the returns come in. Come on, Alabama!”
Ha...It’s hard not to with that song. Go Moore!
Me too. I did have the feeling he was going to do pretty good.
I look at predicting sort of like a game. If I am wrong I don’t sweat it.
As long as he is seated, it’s a big enough margin to satisfy me.
I would like to see the message sent that a 10% spread would send.
Hey the Left, November 2018 is coming, and we’re coming for the Democrats and the GOPe lapdogs!
Tighter than the lug nuts on a ‘55 Ford?
Didn’t the Democrats register a lot of felons to vote?
can’t wait!!!!!!!!!!!!
Voted today around 1:00. The lines were long. After exiting the poll I was interviewed about how I voted. I told them I was a one issue voter - LIFE -
then liberty, then the pursuit of happiness. Roy Moore is a pro-lifer. To me this is the greatest issue of our time.
Okay
