During the campaign, Donald Trump made a lot of stops, sometimes attending events in multiple cities in a single day. A lot of travel time means a lot of sitting in planes and cars and a lot of wrinkles in the average suit.
But Trump, even on the campaign trail, always appeared to be freshly pressed and thanks to a brief passage in former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski's book, Let Trump Be Trump (co-authored by deputy campaign manager David Bossie), now everyone knows why.
The book reveals that campaign press secretary Hope Hicks had one rather unusual responsibility:

I’ve had 2 major losses in the past 3 years .. my husband and a son ... leukemia took him after a 2 year battle ... and life has taken on a whole different tone of what is important and what is mundane. A parent losing a son or daughter, goes through a bit of hell trying to deal with the loss... life is never the same... and some of the stuff people deem important, just isn’t.
The past year of seeing what they’ve done to our President.. it’s been hard to see and hear... and for the people who hate him for no reason... just dumb things they want to pick on... it’s unimportant stuff!!! it’s hurting our country and they don’t care. They could go through real heartache and find out what is on their radar after that.
We have a lot of people who don’t know their up from their down..
I don’t say all this for any sorrys... I come on here to get away from the news and still get what is going on out there. I thank Jim and John Robinson for being able to keep it going.. everyone should donate to them for we do use FR every day.. don’t we!!
Hear, hear. Thank you for your post.
“We have enough hard hitting hate hurled at Trump.. without adding that crap on FR!!”
I totally agree; I am sick of some of the anti-President Trump trash that some Freepers think they should post here. WHY??
This is why I don’t come here much any more. Might as well look at Yahoo.
I refuse to post the obvious remarks on a thread about a beautiful female steaming someone’s trousers. I am above all that.
But yea, you get my point ...
Prefer a rack of lamb.
Absolutely, and loin chops grilled are excellent. Nothing bad to say about lamb; I won’t demean any cut done properly, a feast for any lamb lover.
Just imagine the scandal ("HORRORS!") if not worse, if he had taken them off and handed them to her to press!
Talk about "damned if you do, damned if you don't".
Not everyone likes the taste of lamb. My wife thinks of it as old, unwashed, wool socks. The rest of the family loves it.

Matt Lauer, is that you?
>> Oh Gawd, steam my pants..!!!
LOL — that’s one for the Urban Dictionary.
Damnit. Gonna have to change my handle and reincarnate ....
Just remember:

many women dont want to shut off men theyre interested in only men theyre not interested in. Behavior that nets the wrong man a harassment charge nets the right man a date. As long as men and women choose mates, there will be problems of when its okay or whos okay. Ive watched a room full of women ogle and giggle and flirt with and even touch a good looking UPS driver! They watch the clock until he arrives on his scheduled stop. Universal rules arent going to work. I also happen to know a lot of women who regret some of the impact of feminism on the modern male. Thats some of the point. Women arent all the same, and as you can see in the comments, not all women agree with the article. Unfortunately its really confusing when we cant just make up rules that apply to everyone in every situation. It may be impossible. But, that doesnt stop people from trying to control everything and make the world into their own image. I dont have answers to the problem, so at least the conversation exists. But, I dont see how we fix this one that easily. Im pretty sure a fix would NOT include stereotyping all men and all women like this article does
The article of course was humor. Making fun of those men who whip it out for women they have some sort of professional power over. And no, that actually isn’t ever the right way to court a woman.
But yeah, this is a minefield and a lot of these women are more than a bit ridiculous, claiming decades later they were distressed by repeated behavior, when they never asked the man to stop and went pretty much totally along with it at the time.
Sure seems like scumbags getting outed now, but we can’t have men or women subject to such a total reputation take-down on decades old he said-she said regrets.
