A New York Doctor was found murdered shortly after reporting a breakthrough discovery in the cure for cancer.
Dr. Miguel Crespos body was found in the bathroom of the Weill Cornell Medical Center on the Upper East Side where he worked, after having gone missing for several hours.
Police initially thought that Dr. Crespo had committed suicide by drug overdose after they found vomit next to his body and foaming at his mouth.
However, close friends and family say his death is suspicious, noting that Dr. Crespo had just made an exciting discovery in the field of cancer research and was unlikely to want to end his life at this pivotal stage in his career.
Crespo earned his doctoral degree at the Complutense University of Madrid and was researching a cure for colon cancer at the hospital.
Starting his research in 2011 in the UES stem cell lab, Dr. Crespos team had recently made a breakthrough discovery, according to one of the hospitals staff;
He was working late almost every night and seemed really excited. He said he had made an amazing breakthrough.
The hospitals spokeswoman, Sarah Smith, told the New York Daily News:
Weill Cornell Medicine is saddened by the death of our colleague Miguel Crespo, Ph.D.
We extend our deepest sympathies to his family and friends.
Daily Mail reports: Away from the hospital, Crespo was a part-time photographer and graphic designer.
On his website, his mission statement reads: Throughout my life, I have relentlessly strived to capture the beauty in things I always felt the world has yet to discover windows, shadows, reflections, the magic in the velvety light that projects on our eyes, he wrote on his photo design website.
I have always been mesmerized by the compassion, the emotion, and the meaning somebodys look can convey and inspire.
One of his neighbors Xoey Lee, 38, told NYDN he did not appear seem ill and said: Hes always polite. He always says, Hi.
Agreed !
Your statement ...” (And it is highly unlikely there is going to be a single cure anyway.) ...”
Hits right on the mark, cancer is more of a “condition” then one single disease. It’s not like malaria!
A lot of people on the site love conspiracies, it’s their first solution out of the box to anything! The fact that they immediately point to “Big bad something” as the culprit tells me they spend way too much time watching TV!
Or even alcohol poisoning.
Moreover, all of the "easy" cures have already been discovered.
It could be he was a secret heroin addict/user and being that we STILL do not have a wall, tons of heroin laced with fentanyl which is 100 times more powerful than heroin, is still coming over the border from Mexico and one sniff of it and your dead. Hundreds of people are dying everyday from this stuff, I think the estimate is now over 60,000 a year - it use to be 15,000 before the B. Hussein Presidency. But on the other hand he could have murdered, but to me it seems like heroin/fentanyl OD. I see this all the time in the news, like these guys - father and son step outside for a minute, do two snorts of H and they both drop dead.........

Some are more cynical than others. I don’t think we were deriding the efforts at the actual care and research levels but more directed at the folks in the high towers. Sorry if that upset you.
Did he tick off Hillary in any way? That’s another possibility.
Yup
SIL is a research professor - daughter is a research scientist.
They write it ALL down - plus this guy surely didn't do it on his own. Any breakthrough may have been his idea, but he prolly had lab assistants who do the grunt work, plus a colleague or two with whom he shared information.
Watch to see if his research all of a sudden is missing, laptop stolen, pc formatted, cell phone reset etc...
Dont bother trying to explain that a cure would be valuable.
Remember that people manipulated by emotions can NOT be influenced by facts. Angry, envious, scared people can not be reasoned with.
Just let them yap about big pharma and doctors loosing ther jobs in a conspiracy to murder researchers. Its actually kinda funny.
You're right, "Big Pharma" with "Big Oil" are favorite libtard bogeymen.
Of course they are disgusting...they are meant to be. Posters get caught up in the zeitgeist of the topic then try and match and raise each other. Things get out of hand in no time.
The cure(s) for cancer seem very slow in evolving. The same vicious, brutal, murderous chemotherapy regimens drone on and on. With all the brilliant minds plus money working on the problem, where are the breakthroughs? One comes to mind...my wife had IORT last year which is a fabulous way to deal with breast cancer and radiation therapy. Keep good stuff coming.
If he found out the truth about colonoscopies Big Western Medicine would pretty much have to kill him.
Big Pharm will never let a cure be found.
Always possible.

Well, the three tests is to avoid frivolous lawsuits. Malpractice insurance is skyrocketing.
Agreed. I’m more suspicious of the higher-ups, too. The doctors and researchers themselves don’t conspire.
My own oncologist, who got rid of my own cancer, was a decent, caring man who died way too early (in ‘97). A few years after I finally went into remission — for good, it turned out — he told me that the chemo treatment protocol he used for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma — my cancer — had changed. Some of the medicines that he used on me weren’t included anymore. His success rate had gone down as a result of following the new protocol.
Sheesh.
Words to live by. Literally.
They learned their lesson from polio.
Same with the "March of Dimes". If you fundraise for something that can actually be cured, you run the risk of it actually being cured, and then your gravy train goes away until you can find something new.
Actually, it's quite a bit like malaria. At one point it was insisted that it wasn't. Then they found the 1st infectious cause, and then the next and so on. The American Cancer Society now puts it at 15 to 20% infectious cause.
And that's not including the liver fluke they just found to be causing cancer in some Viet Nam veterans.
Having something cause cancer 40 or 50 years after the first infection makes it very hard to find that infectious cause. So I expect they are a long way from finding the last infectious cause for cancer.
