Charlie Rose’s CBS News career came to an unceremonious end Tuesday when the network fired him over allegations of sexual harassment.
"A short time ago we terminated Charlie Rose's employment with CBS News, effective immediately," CBS News President David Rhodes wrote in a note to staff. "This followed the revelation yesterday of extremely disturbing and intolerable behavior said to have revolved around his PBS program. Despite Charlie's important journalistic contribution to our news division, there is absolutely nothing more important, in this or any organization, than ensuring a safe, professional workplace — a supportive environment where people feel they can do their best work. We need to be such a place."

I doubt it. Trump's enemies had over a year to turn over every pebble of his past. If there was something out there, they would have found it and exploited it prior to election. They fully shot their wad. That Hollywood Access video might have sunk any other presidential candidate but not only did Trump survive it - he was elected president just a few weeks later.

His quick firing leads me to believe that CBS has known about these allegations for a long time, but either ignored them, or quietly settled them. Why else would they fire him so swiftly? Must be there are others still coming forward.
We need to be very careful ending or trying to end someone’s career based on actions in their personal life.
No trial, no negotiation, no ‘rehab’, just shock, awe and decapitation before Noon of the following day.

They tried and failed to use these dirty tricks against Trump. They tried and failed to use this same smear tactic against Moore.
Didn’t work.
So why is it working now against slimewads like Weinstein, Clinton, Spacey, Conyers, Franken, Rose and so many many more?

I clearly remember Charlie Rose’s long face of disbelief on election night when it was called for Donald J. Trump. A year later here is Charlie fired from CBS, dumped by PBS, and revealed as a total sleaze. Still winning!
I remember when the only time a professional man would be afraid to meet a woman alone was if he was a gynecologist.
